I loved Golden Time honestly, childhood friend fucked up, she didn't deserve the MC after that, and pretending not to know him? oh fuck you. Koko was kinda a needy bitch, but she grew by the end of the story, and showed she deserved some love

I don't care about the romance I wish Banri fell to the bridge again or something.
If only it was truck-kun he would have finished the job properly.

I'm early 30's and when people say VHS Player instead of VCR, I feel like I die a little inside.

recommend watching the first part in anime format and then later part the life action anime does the best for most of it but the life action does the ending good/decent

But I agree that not knowing VCR is what you play the magnetic tapes in is quite aging.

Yeah, my dad had a lot of video players, including the betamax and laserdisc. Most of the laserdisc stuff was looney tunes. I remember he paid a fuckton of money for them. He set up two VCR and rented like 3 movies at a time and recorded from one to the other.

We ended up having hundreds of recorded movies, that I ended up watching all through my childhood. He also recorded a lot of movies on the OG HBO with that awesome intro.

The guy that does the art in the Tank Girl comic is also the dude who does the characters for the band Gorillaz. I remember seeing the resemblance in style and found out it was the same guy. It was a pretty cool revelation.

The comic Tank Girl stuff it's easy to see the similarity though!
Too bad about the movie, I didn't think it was that bad, but the Rippers' design was not great.
Realism may have had an effect on that. Comic Rippers looked cool, movie version looked wet and gross.

This is was one of the rare anime that piss me off to this day. I hate the trope of false hope then everything goes to shit. It is a waste of time instead directly, just saying MC's fucked wasn't that fun?

I remember when the gold standard for home computing storage was a tape drive. In college, my projects were stored on a coffee-table sized 10MB hard drive while I built/repaired computers with 5.25' 20 meg HDDs.

Every media that's failed, Betamax, Laserdisc, HDDVD, have all banned porn from being officially in production on the failed media.

A lot of anime have an ending where everything is 'bad' at the end, or just unfinished.
SAO may be cheesy or overrated to some people, but at least it had a satisfying conclusion!

Cleaned out a bunch of Fingerhut punch cards from my mom's house a few years back.
Why she kept them, I have no idea. But the "Computer Room" she worked in was just that. A large room that was one computer.
