Advertising and monetization, I think. Plus, booru has people moderating tags. Most porn sites, don't.
xvideos used to have a good search (not anymore) but the tags are so wildly worng, ti didn't matter.

The wrong tags are other problem altogether (and maybe one that's more difficult to fix), but not having a way to search the already existing tags, regardless of if they're right or wrong, is just very dumb.
XVideos must be more popular than PornHub here in Brazil (altough I use PH more), but the search is weird. It usualy of a lower quality, but at least seem to have more amateur and pirated videos (many videos that I had Bookmarked on PH was removed).

Just like redgifs, the tags are added by the uploader and can be changed by users, but nobody is checking them.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again:
The application I'd like for AI the most is for it to learn categorize things. It would be awesome if you put a porn image/video on that and it gave a list of booru-like tags. Having niche fetishes already sucks because there's few of it, but it even harder when those same few aren't properly marked...

That makes sense, but I wonder if they'd be able to understand what they are looking at.
The AI can figure out what is being said, vocally , and translate or caption with some small problems. It's getting better, but accents really confuse it.
Hell, the g00gle AI that searches photos is still not very good after many years. It still uses descriptions to label image searches, I believe.
If I use the photos app to search for cat or kitten, it still doesn't get the pics that have similar brown colored backgrounds.
We'll see the new AI generation at work starting now, so maybe it will be able to figure out what stuff is.

Sorry if im misunderstanding but are you saying you want a system where inserting an image would put it in a group category with similar tags? so essentially like finding images that are similar to that exact one? sounds extremely difficult lol

Don't know if it just me but Xvideo feels same-me after a wile of surfing for whatever even with tags

In latinamerica xvideos is more popular than brazzers and pornhub, I've even found out people who use xxn (forgot the name of the site)

I think he's saying you would train an AI to be able to identify the presence of a particular thing in a video, and then tag the video. I'm pretty sure there are already AI that can do the task, they just would need to be trained with properly tagged porn videos.

Well, go back some years and say you want AI to generate images/videos/musics and people would say it would be almost impossible, but now it's a reality.
If there were research on that, it would be doable.
Internet has a lot of different things, finding what you're looking for is the problem (not just on porn), so it would be very helpful.

I had looked that video up and linked it here.
A person could go in and remove all the videos they didn't want from the history, but I think that might be annoying.

Pornhub removed a lot of amateur stuff because of an age-related lawsuit and internet mob.

There are AI that can do it (somewhat poorly).
Those wearable devices just use image search to try and find similar stuff, though.

Wait aren't we already there though? I mean shazam for music and reverse image search seem to be enough for me but im guessing for others they want harder stuff to find? The only reliable method that I cant find is for videos.

That expanses why I see jav, sister, exhibitionism, and supersize X type videos in the search when browsing
