There are glasses that reduce eye strain when looking at monitors. Some look like silly gamer accessories and thats who they are usually marketed to, but not all of them are like that. I have a pair of Gunnar's and they work pretty well.

Yeah, I have a few pairs of programmar glasses, with different colored lens. I like the yellow ones, but they also feel obnoxious on the top of the ears after a while. Plus, the uncomfortable adjustment of the vision after you've worn them a while and take the off.

Yeah. I wear glasses that block the blue and my corrective lenses are adjusted for a 3' focal distance. Makes a huge difference for me sitting at my monitors.
