Haha, yeah, if I didn't find it fun I wouldn't bother, not gonna play something I have no fun playing just to annoy people xDD
And I am always happy to pause for a blowjob or something ya know ;P

Yeah, can agree on that, it was way too overhyped :D Personally I managed to hold my expectations, I wanted Fallout/Skyrim in Space and I got it, got still some problems of course, it is Bethesda after all, but I am happy xD And with the new Car my biggst annoyance has been fixed, thats why I started a new playtrough :D originally I was waiting for the DLC too, just kinda got the urge :D
im waiting for the sex mods........

So much for a slow day at work -_- system outages which is making people panic
That is suckasaurus friend, it's almost like getting violently attacked for no reason. Hope the day gets better for you 😁

Sometimes it's an honest mistake. I've knew trans people that didn't do any transitioning, so the appearance was the same as any other cis person, and even cis people that had really androginous looks, but most of the time it's indeed just to be cruel. 😡
But don't worry about them, stupid people are everywhere, you're our favorite trans catgirl librarian! (Maybe the only one, but still) Hahaha
I do make mistakes on occasion. And you know what I do when I find out? I rant and rage. I apologize and try not to repeat the mistake.

My mother did that too. Me, my brother, the cat, it was all a Mashup.
She once "psst-psst-psst* at my brother.
Hahaha. Here it's common to call attention of others with "Hey", "Oi" and other non-words, I wouldn't rule "psst-psst-psst" out. 🤣

Yeah, stuff like that needs extra steps, in case of the forest fires for example, the fine + they have to pay/do reforastation and of course are barred from using the affected area for anything else.
Yeah, but I don't think the government is interested on that. Besides de fine the culprits must also put a lot of more money on the official's pocket...

I'm a 50+ yo cis male, and i just dont fucking understand that attitude. Let people be who they are, and respect how they want to be treated. It's not that fucking hard.
It's not that they find it difficult, it's just that they want to be jerks.

Yea, there are horror stories out there about fixed fines per day or week that were adding up into the millions for normal middle class people. One I can think of was some EPA stuff when somebody's residentially zoned lot was declared a natural wetlands and they were required to "return it to its original condition" after it had been graded and construction had started.

What makes me furious is that some poor people have a small debt, only on the hundreds, and after years that debt is almost at the millions, while big companies sometimes have millionaire bills and the government pardon it. Like what the fuck???

And conveyer builds, and trains, and random supply trucks and roads. Yeah when it goes 1.0 I'll be back there, but Icarus has been amazing since.
I've tried using trucks but the system for automating them just makes me frustrated. Way easier to use lines of stacked conveyors or a train.
Fixed fines are by design unfair, fines that are adjusted to disposable income/wealth of the person can work as penalties for crimes that aren't bad enough for other sentences.

The main advantage of fixed fines is that they don't require any analysis of the person's income. If you want a scaled fine you have to have the person swear to how much money they make and probably provide written proof. It's more work for everyone. I think things like points on driving license, community service and other alternative punishments to fines/prison are generally better if the crime doesn't merit imprisonment.

A major problem in the States is that fines go back into the treasury of the local government issuing the fine, or worse in civil asset forfeiture they effectively go directly to the police agency, so there's perverse incentives to overregulate and put police resources on setting up speeding traps to issue speeding tickets rather than doing something about real crimes.

But the shitty thing is that if you do X you either are put in jail for Y time or pay a Z amount.
That way the poor people are always the one being imprisoned, while the rich don't mind paying and sometimes even do it again because they don't care.
Here sometime ago the son of a rich businessman killed two people by running over them with his car at the same block, but years apart one from the other, and both times he just paid a hefty fee and that was it.

I mean starfield is a fun game, just super overhyped because it's Bethesda. I'll hit it up again when that expansion drops.
I agree. I guess I didn't know what to expect, so I wasn't let down. I did think there was a bit too much open nothing, but I'd played No Mans Sky already so I was used to it. I do want to see what the expansion does for the overall enjoyment.

They aren't out yet? I'll admit to not having gone looking for them after I stopped playing. That seems like something that needs to be addressed.

anything illegal that can be got out of with simply a fine, no matter how large, is something that is only illegal for poor people. It's bullshit, and I hate it.

Yeah, life's really unfair.
I think drunk hit and run is ruled as homicide at first, but with good lawyers and connections they can overturn it and make it so its ruled as a accidental death, so only a fine is enough. 😡

Thank you kind friend. I almost feel like I should mobilize a army to destroy those who would attack me for no reason. Makes me wonder 🤔 has this ever been done before around here 🤔

That's why I'm saying community service works better than fines. If someone has to do 64 hours of community service, that's 8 8 hour days regardless of your income. The manslaughter cases are weirder though, I'm pretty sure manslaughter is a jail sentence everywhere in the States, although it can be pretty short like < a year if there's no aggravating factors. Manslaughter with a vehicle can be an aggravating factor, and might also come with mandatory license suspension. That requires the person is actually convicted of manslaughter though, prosecutors love to offload cases by getting pleas so you get some pretty egregious plea deals.

I don't know anything about Brazilian criminal justice but that sounds like someone pleading murder down to reckless homicide, i.e. manslaughter. Which to be fair would be correct for drunk driving since the driver doesn't intend to kill anyone. The surprising part would be that DUI manslaughter wouldn't have mandatory probation at least, in the US DUI manslaughter would be one of the aggravated sentences I mentioned where you're looking at possibly a decade prison sentence.

People could argue that the time of a poor man that have to work to put food on his family table is more "important" to him than of someone who have passive income, but it would be already a lor better.
But filthy rich people are usually powerful and influential, so there's a high probability of getting some kind of deal.

Now, I'm not saying there's a goblin swarm hiding in the shadows, just in case. But I'm not denying it either.
