Fuck it, I spend enough time here I should do something useful. I'll look into it after work and see if I think it's for me.

I made a thread talking a little about that (link should be my signature)
but honestly we don't ask much, our idea is more like 'if everyone help a little, nobody will have to sacrifice much'
what I truly ask? follow the template/rules for posting and help when you can. I'm working on some sheets to make the whole 'upload' thing easier, I already have some lists of games we don't have, which is being updated every three hours, and I'm planning to make one for updates too, so people would only need to take a look there and upload/update when they have some free time. But I'm already really happy with the new guys we recruited, they really want to help the place, and they listen to us, it's beautiful

Is it ethical to pirate? Hell it would even be more hilarious if you take patreon links directly which most devs hate.

we do not care about the ethical parts, we are a 'dev friendly' place as a respect, because 90% of the staff are game devs too, that's why we have our 14-days period before leaks. We tried some automation tools, but it's easier said than done, I still want to make something like that, maybe after fixing the other LC-scripts, because that one is really annoying to make it work properly (getting the info is kinda easy, but automating the post/promote part is a pain, we tried before)

I think it's because mega links are too easy to report, which would make the devs lost their entire mega accounts without a right to refund (yeah, mega is a bitch). That why I avoid adding mega links from devs, I rather make some mirrors

I don't how to make server-based scripts or whatever that don't need a browser open, but I do think its viable. Scan some other sites to changes in versions in the games, and use some RegEx or something to copy the links and voilà.
Sometime ago I made a script that stored games names, tags, image and description from that one site, it could work similarly.

Wouldn't you ? By comparison, there should be a link that withdraws 10k of coins from your bank every time a member visits the bank page. Hmmm, that actually sounds like a great idea

VPNs + mega= fast and unlimited......

30 parts and if you take 1 of each and put it in a nice wooden box it makes a whole new part. But the customer didn't want the whole new part that comes in a nice wooden box. They wanted 10 each of the parts. Now I have to try and protect these and ship them to Korea

I find it disgusting, the worst host for anything that's not small files for sync and share, like work stuff. GoFile is waaaaay better for what we do here

Gofile is nice but they expire on not that popular games and completed games.
PREMIUM!!! nah just use multiple VPNs....

It used to be better. There was a time when mega had at least 5gb of download at fast speed, sometimes 8-10 in good days, and you could literally just restart the router to change ip and keep downloading if you were using Jdownloader or anything similar. Meanwhile, every other site suck balls, was slow as fuck and/or had a cap on how big a file could be for free users. Mediafire was the only other good option at the time but was having a lot of issues back then for some reason I can't remember.
TLDR: it now sucks, but it used to be the only good option.

Yeah, I use it for small games only.

It's quick, but it's got some other annoying quirks as well.

Even on smaller games I don't usually use it. Sometimes I batch download multiple games, so their sizes sums up.
The managing to see which game I can download and which one I'd need another mirror is not worth it IMO. I just use another one and that's it.

I don't use VPNs. The few ones that were free and I used on very especific cases were very slow, so wouldn't work for me...
