Romaji I meant that we can read phonetically right. Take the ones from USA for example, most of times they pronnounce the words wrong even if they're in our alphabet, but since romaji was made using portuguese, We can speak it more easily. It's really nice.
Día de Muertos are only celebrated in spanish speaking countries, I think. Here we don't even celebrate halloween.
But we have an festival named Festa Junina (party of june, literally). It is country-themed and have lots of foods, usually made with corn and peanut. Pamonha, curau, bolo de milho (corn cake) e milho cozido (corn on the cob), which I talked about earlir, are present.
Carnival I don't participate much, but we usually get one week off school and work, so that's a win in my book.
Me and my wife alo like to travel, we are currently saving money to go to Japan, and maybe some other countries. Aside from it, we also wanted to know Thailand, maybe Philippines and such.


I love dried tomatoes. You sprinkle them with salt and sugar and put them on the oven and hmmmm... The sweety and savory is delicious!


No, it's a normal hot dog bun. I think the same as USA. But we do have potato bread, and some of them is filled with requeijão (a type of cream cheese, I guess?). Delicious!

It's just a random burger I found on Google.
But going from the image drescription, it is:
• Buttered bossa nova bread

Apparently bossa nova bread is the same as francês bread, but in the shape of a hamburger bun.
Francês bread means "french bread", and despite the name is brazilian (I said we do that a lot). It has this name because it was made to ressemble a french baguette, but shorter.

The one I ate in a burguer place here it was a normal burger (bread, patty, onions and tomatoes), with homemade green mayo, arugula and the bananas. I also like grilled pineapple on burguers. EMOJI

Hahaha. Eating is like my #1 hobby, so I like knowing new things. There are few dishes I wouldn't try. Even if it seems disgusting and I think I wouldn't like it, usually I eat at least once.


That doesn't make much sense to me, it's like saying "It's not meat, it's a steak!".
But I really surprised to all of you guy's reaction to cucumbers. Here we have two varieties of it, and I never knew anybody in here that has such hatred for it's smell/taste. Maybe they're of different varieties? Not kidding, most people I know think that cucumber is just texture alone, tasting only water.

It's a bit surprising quotes don't generate some coins, since that's a better indicator that your post facilitated engagement than reactions. I'd imagine it could be hard to implement something so it only generates coins the first time a particular person quotes a particular post without it being a database nightmare.

Having quotes count was brought up in an improvement thread, and the counter was that it would lead to quote farming. Having only the first quote count would solve that, but I have no idea if it's implementable.

I don't know if you can quote posts from a different thread, but even if you can if we ignored those maybe it wouldn't be too bad to just scan the whole thread when a quote post is posted and check if that person has quoted the post before. Then you don't need to persist it. It could still be an issue for massive threads, I don't know what capability the backend has to queue low priority batch work. That or just cap it to like 10 coin awards total from quotes of the same post.

Yeah, having quote generate coins would be good. In other thread aside from this one you can post the most useful post ever, have lots of people quote you, and yet you'd get like 2 reactions.
Quotes have links to the original post on whatever thread it is (I think), so there is already some way of quickly seeing the thread where the original post is. There could be a limit or something, but I think it's a great idea.
I also don't know why posts on your own thread don't generate coins. Make so the thread give the same ammount of coins as a regular post and let people post there. If it isn't spam (which is forbidden and can result on posts/coins removal) I don't see why not be like this.

Just a fun fact. In Japan we have no raccoon at all, and so, when I join here I needed look up raccoon, so, I told my friends about raccoon and now they all seem wat a raccoon pet. I showed them and watch together about raccoon in USA and was interesting so if you get any visit from strange Asians with Nikon SLR Digi cams you know they just want to take raccoon pics. lol Better than this, just send out the raccoon merchandise, shirts, mugs, plush and so on, and you can build up large international raccoon collectors market lol.

but honestly we don't ask much, our idea is more like 'if everyone help a little, nobody will have to sacrifice much'
what I truly ask? follow the template/rules for posting and help when you can. I'm working on some sheets to make the whole 'upload' thing easier, I already have some lists of games we don't have, which is being updated every three hours, and I'm planning to make one for updates too, so people would only need to take a look there and upload/update when they have some free time. But I'm already really happy with the new guys we recruited, they really want to help the place, and they listen to us, it's beautiful
