discussion Animated or not?

Do you guys care whether a game is animated or not?
Personally i prefer if there are animations and i generally play those games first with others ending up on the back burner.
Now there are of course quite a few really shitty examples with janky animations.

Animations are the way. My only real complaint about this site is that a fair number of games aren't tagged properly and the animation tag is one of the most often missed ones.

Yeah animation really makes or breaks it for me. everything else can go out the window.

Always Animated. The movements creates more emotion and more erotic than a still image.

Tbh don't really care, animations are usually just a short loop in these games where you still have to click to get to the next one so from that perspective they're not that different from images
And if I'm just skipping through the game I play because of scenes only I won't spend too much time on every scene anyway

Animated. It makes such a huge difference. I don't mind some decently drawn 2D non animated.

But I can't stand 3D non animated, considering most games use 3D assets just use the animations too.

for 3d always animated, preferably short loops, don't really need millions of angles and variants for every outfit

good hand drawn 2d is ok with just a sequence of several pics (not just one or two per scene)

3D has to be animated for me, playing freeloading family and I'm struggling to find the will to play it because of the lack of animations.

Yeah terrible animation can really take you out of enjoying the game, or getting that great fap

If the animation runs smoothly, renders are good, and it has good flow with the story then yes, love having animation. Otherwise, it really depends if that's what I'd want at the time.

Pretty much this. Animated is usually better, but it's obviously more work for the dev so I'll take a still images if they're good.

I prefer well made character models and great dialogue over animations.

I don't mind either way, as long as it's done well. Don't try to make it look animated by giving me a powerpoint slideshow I have to click through or animate it with stiff, robotic animantions.

animations are a big plus for me also replay gallery is realy important cause i dont wana play the whole game over again to see a specific scene. and if the scene gives me an option to switch viewing angle thats also a big bonus
