The open world / free roam section is a terrible implementation of free roam. Having to just pick every area to see if something changed is just about the worst way to implement it as possible and is zero fun to play.

No idea why they changed what was already working.

I would not recommend anyone playing this in its current state now.

I enjoyed it, but I agree that the free roam implimentation is awful.

I do have to admit, that the old artwork was way better as the newer one. Newer is more AI like and the old one had a better character consistency. Also characters looked better. If it´s possible, continue with the old artstyle.

The dev doesn't frequent this forum from what I've seen. But yeah, the old art was a lot better.

The change to art was not the developer's choice, and they struggled to try and replicate the original AI engine results.

Maybe it's someone's hobby and they don't always feel like working on it.

Their Ai service changed and it took quite a while to recreate the style in a new service. And he takes a long time deciding the direction of the story and creating the dialog.

Shiro used to have another helper who had some problems and disappeared, now shiro is doing everything and doesnt have quite the same experience that the helper had in the past. She used to be one of the bigger walkthrough modders and might have had another past game i'm not sure if this was her first.
