Images were generated with AI tools instead of a typical rendering application.
looking forward to an update. Looks promising. I look for a good AI game and someone who really puts in content. It is much less work (working with AI myself), so I do not understand how updates espacially after the first are taking months or are abondend imidiatly. Someone knows a good one with content?
 
It lacks the "abandoned" tag.
This one is old. Good, but old.

The only one visual novel finished, with machine-generated-pictures, is the well-made, nice and lovely "GirlScoutIsland", from Tieneretsu. All the others get abandoned (because a machine is soooo hard to have it do your art. Ho, and it survives when you just want to give people joy, not to take their money "or else..." and cry like a bay because you don't make money from a machine because you're untalented. Tieneretsu is talented, and use machine-generated-picture after he did the art. Coincidence ? Yeah, sure.)

Shiro stated on the "other site" that progress is being made. We can only hope for an update soonish.
But rest assured that the game is still worked on !
I wouldn't get your hopes up. Feature creep and bloat is likely to do this this game what it did to Dune. The fact that Schiro has struggled to actually get what was originally a modest update out, and instead has released tons of unrelated renders and talk about new "game features" is not a good sign.

I'm still optimistic. I love his renders. At first it was because of an update of version in the AI it took them a while to find a good balance using the new one to make it look like the original renders, and then he had the harddrive issue, but luckily didn't sound like they lost anything just needed to get everything installed again, and there is being sick here and there.
Still probably taken longer than you would think. I don't mind though. It's free.
With the creep you talk about, im sure there is some of that, but I like that it's not an AI slop game. There is some actual thought and care going into it, and they are wanting to try some new things.

Like i said, i'm optimistic lol

I'm hoping, but also worried at this point. While some of the new features like the map sound potentially cool, I'd be happy with just a bit of new story content.

Alchemist Trainer 0.26.

To start, you need to finish all the old content, then there will be another choice to 'Continue the day'.

This will take you to a new 'hub' menu. From here you can choose to go around the shop, or the town, looking for events. Eventually old content will be moved here as well, and I'll be removing the old menu.

There're two phases, day and night, but all the scenes in this patch happen during the day phase. There will be 6 scenes, but Ailen's second scene will happen right after the first, making it effectively one long scene.

Nyxie's first time.
Ailen 1 + 2 (unlocked after seeing Nyxie's scene).
Lucia's study cleaning.
Lucia at the backyard.
Lucia's little exhibitionism play 1 (unlocked after the backyard scene).
 
Still early but, as new characters get added, it is getting there. Interested in what happens once the gold is utilized.
 
When i try to continue my save, pressing "continue day" gives me the error screen then kicks me to the main menu. literally cant play the new content unless someone can confirm starting over works...

I had to restart same issue

or you had to restart and had the same issue (aka restarting doesnt work)?
I had the same issue as you so I started a new game and got past that point fine. (Restarting works)
 
The open world / free roam section is a terrible implementation of free roam. Having to just pick every area to see if something changed is just about the worst way to implement it as possible and is zero fun to play.

No idea why they changed what was already working.

I would not recommend anyone playing this in its current state now.

Yeah it's a really odd choice to implement. When devs do things like this, it makes me wonder if they've ever actually played a VN before. The amount of time and effort to build out this sandbox/map system was probably a lot of hours, and it's a shame, because it really, really sucks.
 
I do understand when some game functions are not really working out for the player when it´s the first few updates especially the first, but I started my own game just a short time ago and it is very much work and dedication to work on a game. Constructive feedback is always nice to get, but you should not talk like that about something for free without giving anything while the dev is spending hours and hours of his time after work into a game. You liked the game and the vision of it? Then support him with good feedback instead of shaming him.
What is your goal with this? You want him to stop making games because something he tried you do not like? Imaging yourself working on a game like 150 hours for an update and get the comments you just sent.

To the dev, you made a very cool game to this point and I hope you try out what you like. Also when someone is talking like the people above, I think they were very excited about an update, so take it as a motivation and just look at it as feedback even if it´s not so nice how it was said.
 
An indicator showing where there is something to see in the freeroam section would be good. If animations were added as well, it would be an almost perfect game for me. Just pictures (even if they are very pretty here) are simply not enough for me.
