Oh sorry, I just assume people looking to generate online are on mobile and don't have computers and such. Your computer is going to need some sort of nvidia gpu or you're in for a slow time. So if you got that, then I typically recommend Fooocus: for people who just want to press a button to generate images, Automatic1111 or Forge: are good all rounders and what i use most of the time, and lastly ComfyUI: for advanced workflows.

I don’t know about a favorite, but recently I got really into the ff7 remake art style, so I looked for a lora and found one. It was pretty janky to get working but I think I made it work. I wish tattoos were easier to get in AI art, but usually it defaults to womb tattoo. I guess I really like having extremely different breasts. Sometimes I like “flat chest” and sometimes I like something like “gigantic breasts”.

I love perchance. I don't know if I can post the link here, but the story generator, the AI chat, and the improved AI chat are great in at least generating short to medium length stroke stories even if it is very finnicky at times. Perchance is totally free, so if you're a cheapskate like me famous for using the same game engine over and over again, I know you'll love it. You just really, really, REALLY wish you had three hands at times as you struggle to play with yourself while also trying to get the AI back on track to refocus.

I'm downloading L3-Uncen-Merger-Omelette-RP-v0.1.1-8B right now. I see it's a merge with the top L3 8b out there like Stheno, Hathor, Umbral, Poppy... I've tried them all. And also Euryale, that I agree with you that it's the best 70b.

I like Kobold because it's simple to update and easy to load multiple models using different ports. So when I don't like a reply, I change the port in Silly to use a different model in the swipe (for example Umbral that it's trained on darker RP).

Is there a complete idiot's guide to AI-generating images on your own computer? It all seems a bit overwhelming for someone who's never dabbled in this before.

It's not for images, but I use Chub AI for a free chat bot. It has community created character cards you can load into it.

I normally use Full Body Shot and Professional Photoshoot in all my prompts.
yes negative prompts are just as important as well such as Deformed hands and fingers.
I dont use the () or 1.04 emphasis. I normally use + such as petite++

There are quite a few prompts I like. For example I like girls with smaller breasts but when you type "small breasts", they are still quite big. I found that using "petite" is quite good to achieve that.
Also, you can use "full body" if it's showing you only face or torso. Additionally "from behind, from side, from front" for the general position of the model. AI like to generate Asians so typing "European" helps, although I also like "Scandinavian". I also like "bokeh" to create those blurred lights in the background and "people in the background" or "surrounded by people" or "blurred background" to get some interesting backgrounds.
