AWAM. Looked good and even patroned for a short time but all blueballing and no sex sucks ass. 7 years in and still no sex except shitty sex with her husband. Game approved by Southern Baptists and the Taliban.

Got three games for you,

DMD - Started strong with the first chapter and slowly turned into shit, lost all interest around the end of chapter 2 when I realized MrDots was milking the shit out of their following. Everything was developing WAY to slow, also the NTR aspect that was promised from the start got almost killed off by the rabid fanbase...

Lexi - One of my favorite adult games, sadly the dev passed away though managed to pass the game onto somebody he trusted to keep on developing it. New dev had this insane plan about starting a "whole" studio and get funding almost like a kickstarter before even continuing on the game, which suprise suprise never manifested... Now it sit abandoned and will most likely NEVER see the light again.

The Guardian - Might get some hate for this game but the story just went all over the place after a while, almost like the dev was not sure where the focus should be or just crammed all his ideas into it hoping it would all make sense in the end. Whole mafia plot was bonkers for me.

Unlimited Pleasure. It got so bad, it gave me the impression the dev is actively trying to kill it

There are too many to give a complete list. In a year I if not play through, then at least familiarize myself with 30-35 games. In five years, I've kept 48 games that I think are worthy of consideration. Of those, 9 are in development, just keeping track of their updates. The rest have moved to the trash garbage can.

Illusion's Illgames's "Honey Come". A "Honey Select" with polished "Koikatsu" graphics. No story, no mod support (and actually hard to mod) and limited customization options. They started over to make things better... and failed catastrophally.

Daughter For Dessert disappointed me so much that I had to stop playing at some point and do another run without getting involved with the daughter.

The Guardian has the visual goods (except his sister..good lord), but the story indeed does meander. It's games like this that seem to be in the most danger of going away. The devs seem to give up or they get knocked off one or more platforms and can't make any money.

Honestly? Almost every adult game is a disappointment.
I mean, the whole harem genre is focused on collecting girls...and then its done...i want to play WITH my harem, not UNTIL i have the harem.
Female protagonist games are mostly boring pink bubbled lovy dovy yuri games or disgusting dick collections. Where are my lesbian harems? The very few i ever found are onhold, abandoned or have devs with "personal problems" and delays over half a year for a short update...and sadly you cant even bank on the big studios since they ONLY produce the pink bubble shit with "pick one" endings and even keep those mostly censored...
Adult games are good to fill appointment-holes during work on oldtimer PCs, but in private they are mostly disappointing.

Anything that has too much "novel" and not enough "adult." As in the blueballing ones.

. It isn't a bad game, it is even a good game I would say. The problem is that it is a sequel to another game , and while the art is a step up everything else about the game is worse. RaiOhGar is probably my favorite game and I was super hyped for Sorgante but it just didn't live up to the original. Still recommend it but it suffers from sequel syndrome.

Not going to call anyone out, but when Devs jump to a different game instead of finishing the one that's halfway done. I get if things connect but if they are stand-alone stories can you just finish your first project before you start something new please?

It's better to do that period. When they work on 2+ at the same time it makes it take too long between updates of each. After a few months you forget a lot.

I am fine with releasing your new project, before you release the final update to your first project to get some hype for it, but that is it. I mean I love seeing good devs work together and all but try to focus on one thing, not several games.

Ravenous was super promising in the first few updates, but at this point it has crawled so far up it's own ass with the tedious story, boring dialogue and barely any sex scenes (none of which are all that hot) that I've completely given up on it.

I'm thinking one like Bad Memories, that go months because he's working on the other one that also takes forever (deleted because old saves stopped working.) And there were others working more than 1 at a time so updates took forever, including when 1 I hadn't the slightest interest in.

Most adult games are a disappointment really, looking for the gems in the rough. Most suffer from either terrible stories, way too short, or too much grinding.
