As so many others wrote, Midlife Crisis. It's got enough content to get invested in it, and to for me to be reasonably certain that it would have continued to be great. And moreover, it seems like the problem is that the dev is in a bad spot in their life; rather than just having moved on to do something else.

i know a couple of these were in their infancy (1-2 releases) but the others i followed from the initial if not the 2nd update. not to mention that some of these tragedies are the result of the Australia Incident and the War in Ukraine.

Twisted World before remaster was great now its just meh as fuck and a waste of time.

Only issue I have with twisted world is that the remaster version is still stuck on the first version and there is absolutely no news (At least that I can find) on when the next version will be out.

Yes, it's incredibly sad. He's only 31. I don't know if the trial is finished yet. Tried to search for info but only found that he was caught. But he should have been released with bail if I understood everything correctly. The authorities are also trying to hunt down those who paid for the game.

Ecchi Sensei was the first game I ever become a patron of, but tbh its visuals were looking very dated by the end.

Not a game persay, but the guy who wrote the bondage caterpillar chick in Trails in tainted space, ONE of the few bondage doms in the game and he retired from writing lewd content.

I cant really think of any games that got dropped off the top of my head that I miss. Outside lewd ones MML3 getting canned pissed me off to no end.

Humans are really scary animals, this honestly sounded like something straight out of a shitty YouTube short movie to me when i first heard it.

Kind of hard if they're not in Australia, especially if they're in a country that doesn't consider pixels as people.

Holy shit I completely forgot about this game(Gates Motel), it was weird and a bit gross but I really enjoyed it despite the MC. Was any reason giving or did the Dev just disappear?

That was a hidden gem. Too bad it was just a hobby for him to do when he was bored. Always hoped he'd get back to it.

From what I recall, the dev has some mental health issues and reached a point where he needed to focus on himself. There was talk that he would be returning back in 2023, but that's all I know.
