Why one has to choose? 
I sense if a game is about to be abandoned. It mostly begins with rework, reboot, revisit etc.
But I guess I prefer abandoned. That way I can still hope that one day the developer continues to work on it...

Id rather have a rushed ending. At least then the creator put effort into tying things up, even though they've lost the motivation to continue the project

A.O.A. Academy, Ecchi Sensei and i found out today that Luke's Way and Midlife Crisis got abandoned tag aswell.

Corrupted Love. It's not abandoned but content got changed and removed.
Sadly Ive seen many games either get abandoned, or get a really bad rushed ending instead.
Unfortunately this will continue to happen and I don't see a good solution.
