Duality (RIP ) was definitely one of my favorite games before it was abandoned. I really liked the older sister and wearing down the aunt was really fun. It was pretty grindy though...

The ones I wish would see a return to development are High Life, Life Happened, and Exiles. Though Exiles discord does claim that he's still working on it, though it's been around a year and a half with nothing of that work shown.

I have played many abandoned games in my time but I wonder if there is a general concensous of which one is the most popular and people would love to have back?

Mine has to be Proud Father, mostly because it's awesome and Summer Camp, because I liked the variety.

Anyone else got a preference?

Reluctant Archon, hands down.

I cannot stress this enough, it's one of the best H-games I've ever played.

Definitely a good start; reminded me of Sorcerer.

It is a pity that it was abandonned.

I've noticed there are quite a few abandoned AVNs out there. What abandoned AVN would you like to see continued, or even redone by another developer?

Demon boy for sure! And Possessed. Something about devil themed games leads to abandonment, go figure.

How has nobody mentioned Parental Love?

To name a few:
Ecchi Sensei had alot off content so i wasn't too sad when he stopped uppdating it, but it was quite a fun game and i could have played more of it.
Glamour is another game i would have liked to get a little bit more of.
Offcuts had a really uniqe artstyle, so different from the basic 3d renpy games.
Same with Strange nights, uniqe artstyle and it was pretty fun.
High life was a beautiful looking 3d asset game, and it was just getting started, really sad it didn't get further.

But my top games, that have sadly been abandoned are Come inside and Corruption Time.
Come inside had some of the best 3d renders i have seen in a VN style game and it was just getting to the good parts when the updates stopped, i still hope he will return one day.
Corruption Time was a game i was really, really excited to see more of and it broke my heart when it got abandoned. It had such a good and different artstyle and it ticked so many boxes for me personally.

That looks to be right, I'd have to reply to validate 100% but doing a quick look at the script there is references to cousin/uncle/aunt (if you include the iPatch).

I was involved in this one. Music, dialogue. Pitched scenes for the next updates. Never came. Dev wanted more subs and quit to start again. He has and his new game has even less subs haha.

Can't tell you his new name, but he's trying a similar story. Models are good, story isn't. Why? Because I'm not writing it XD.

If anyone wants to see what I envisioned for the next update of Surviving with my Daughter, go to the game thread on F9x. A week ago I posted the ideas I pitched for the next stage plus a stitched together concept video(stock images only).

Haramase Simulator. It was a collaboration between a bunch of forum-goers (4chan or something, can't remember). The game centered around breeding. Men are rare and breeding is required to keep numbers up, so the state mandates that some guys of exceptional pedigree (genetically, so even losers can get in if their DNA is good enough) are to have sex with as many women as they can. You're one of them.

They added a sister character for you to knock up, put it on hiatus for a while as they sorted themselves out behind the scenes, then abandoned the project outright after months of waiting. It was a sad day.
