We have similar tastes so I'm just going to rattle off some games I've re-played recently. Companion of Darkness. Would say it's more "comic-book" than anime, but it has a similar vibe to Stray Incubus. Oppai Odyssey is really good if you like Sci-fi. I would really recommend playing in VN mode...- MajinGuu

What are some games with robust nickname systems?

I prefer an optional mix, but pure wholesome or pure "dark" is fine with me as long as they're tonally consistent. Which games that have been abandoned do you wish would continue?
AOA Academy. No chance of it coming back. Game was genuinely special. Had great LIs and wasn't afraid to delve into darker subject matters and stick by it instead of toning it down from fear of upsetting the vanilla fanbase it garnered like the majority of VNs that get popular.- MajinGuu
