why do so many have something against RPGM?
well for me it's a mixed bag. UI and sound (fucking volume!!!) sucks. on the other hand the concepts, gameplay and fetishes are often more to my taste. Yet with rpgm games it feels like that there is waaay more shovelware going around.- Suntec

What version number do you jump in at?
I shy away from demos or 0.1s. I've never been an early adopter. For me, it depends how much content there is.
