Sometimes it's found in games (I haven't seen tags like that, I've encountered it by accident during gameplay), but there's a lot more of it in real videos.

Incest and loli are absolutely hinging on the depiction of the taboo for me as well. I don't get games that take those concepts so far out of context that the corresponding taboos don't even apply anymore. It's such a waste imo to take loli and incest into some fantasy or sci-fi world or post-apocalypse without any society around to even deem those taboos.

To me the things I'm into irl compared to what I enjoy in games greatly diverges in many areas. Especially due to how many concepts are presented in an embellished and romanticized way, free from the actual downsides that would go hand in hand with it in reality. Whereas many things I did experience irl are not as exciting anymore.

It works for me in Desert Stalker and Hot Sands of Antarctica. The guidance aspect is still there. Okay technically speaking they ain't lolis but still.
What i hate with a passions are games set in " basically our world" that give you a pages long exposition dump why those kinks are okay on a global level and not a seductive tool for the MC or others.
It's like taking away the best part about it and as compensation you get a Wall of Text thrown in your face... thanks!

Absolutely, jealousy needs to be taken into consideration more. I get how a realistic depiction of that would not go too well with most games' harem routes and how the best possible outcome would be for everyone to agree with mc's wishes/actions/preferences. But even just a hint of jealousy adds so much spice to the game and volume to characters, as you suddenly consider how characters react to things they might come to know about and how to best hide any nefariously narcissistic notoriety.

Absolutely. And you don't even have to sacrifice the harem ending- but at least make the MC have to put in the work to get there. You know, actually prove to all these girls that he's worth sharing, resolve personality conflicts that would put them at irreconcilable odds with other love interests, etc.

As it is too many MCs basically sit there drooling while a whole truckload of girls line up to throw themselves at him- and it's both boring, because there's no real tension, and suspension of disbelief-shattering, because it can get really hard to fathom why all these girls are so desperate to get with this schmuck and the only real answer to "why" is "because they're not people, they're renders that exist to generate sex scenes".
