Hi Sev, I prepared this text and really tried to make sure it came across as polite and respectful...Nevertheless, I'm a little nervous. I do think you're someone who can be spoken to in a friendly and polite way, which is why I prepared this text for you.

Are the complaints because I publicly addressed moderator behavior?
I'd like to know what I can improve about my behavior so that these complaints don't occur again.
Wouldn't it be more sensible to discuss and reveal things privately instead of publicly?
I think we're both people who can discuss things in a friendly and polite way.

I spent half of last week almost dead in intensive care from a very bad infection that almost killed me, I am home and I am supposed to relax and get better which I have not gotten a whole lot better. When my phone blows up with dings from staff complaining about the same person they already had trouble with ....... It pissed me the fuck off having to intervene again.
If a staff member tells you to stop you STOP. You do not come back at them and drag things out. You have done this repeatedly. Then come back and make excuses and blame the staff member for being MEAN and using or letting power go over their heads... They are doing their job it's what they are supposed to do. If you do not like it there is the door just do not let it hit you on the ass on the way out.
I am done I will not come back in and repeat myself or continue to go back and fucking forth with you. I said what I said and it's up to you to figure your shit out not up to me because leaving it up to me mean see ya later.

Guz was overworked between real life and trying to help here, He got burned out and went poof. None of us have heard from him since and he also shut down his discord. If you need help feel free to submit a ticket and one of the moderators will help you.

Given the context, where an user I won't mention (because he calmed down and asked nicely I don't mention him) spent two weeks straight having a very borderline behaviour towards numerous people without any repercussions until a few of us started actively pointing out the problem, it adds to the incomprehension
While it took some time, things seem to have been settled privately, I haven't seen him bother anyone until then - I interpretated all this as a will to moderate smoothly, which fits the staff rules, and that doing things right can take time
So why pressure @xXxLunaxXx with red text publicly. Her post was not aimed towards LC mods specifically, and even if it was maybe implied, the reaction is totally disproportionate. Has not either been harassing mods or been a threat to the site that would deserve, in the end, such backlash

It's obvious that going "", "" with you (or anyone) would not be very diplomatic; actually, of course you would feel kind of insulted, even if nor moms nor anyone's assholes are involved
I actually tend to despise such ways of talking to people, might them be simple users, mods, or "", unless case of extreme and last necessity
It seems @xXxLunaxXx's fault was to criticize the moderation, and she doesn't seem like the " " type. And I doubt there were horrendous backstories that would justify such an approach.
Am I exposing myself to such red written pressures from you or other members of the staff for pointing all this out?
Is such "crisis" management to be expected in the future? If that's the case my investment in the future shall be minimal, like on F95 -
Last thing: I'm of course not posting this to add dramas to the dramas, but hoping I can partake in ending it, fast and well. I consider it is everyones' daily work to make shared places better, it is just my humble way to participate.

I sincerely wish you the best of recoveries. Not that you are the only one suffering in this world, or that it would be a "who has the biggest" contest.
But without going into details, I know how some situations, especially when they go long term, can be purely maddening. So, ofc, no "gtfo and take a break", but please don't let pain make mistakes in your name.

It's hard not to see double standards.
- Represent LC correctly. Staff behavior sets the tone—keep it professional even in casual spaces.
- Do your actual staff tasks first. Reports, approval queue, and urgent issues come before chatting.
- No power-tripping. Moderate content, not egos. Don’t escalate unless necessary.
- Use the least force needed. Warn → edit/move → temporary action → ban (depending on severity).
- Be consistent. Apply rules the same way across ranks, friends, and popular users.
- Keep staff coordination in staff channels. Don’t argue policy in public threads.
- Document major actions. Notes/logs for bans, major deletions, and serious warnings.
- Don’t leak internal info. Staff discussions, tickets, backend, and private details stay private.
- Handle reports promptly. If you can’t, ping another staff member who can.
- No “staff drama.” If staff disagree, resolve it privately and move on.
- Lurker thread(s): Avoid unless personally pinged or moderating a specific issue. (See policy above.)
- Don’t feed trolls. Remove bait, warn if needed, and keep it quiet.
- Keep replies clean and short. Staff responses should de-escalate, not entertain conflict.
- No public callouts. Don’t shame users publicly—use warnings/PMs/logs.
- Avoid “backseat modding.” If another staff member is handling it, don’t override unless urgent.
- Escalate threats immediately. Doxxing, illegal content, security issues, chargebacks/fraud: ping admin/owner fast.
- Age-gating is non-negotiable. Anything suggesting underage content = immediate action and escalation.
- Keep moderation transparent. If you edit/move/remove, leave a short reason when appropriate.
- Don’t moderate while angry. Step away, ping another staff member, come back later.
