I like what the game is going for, but the sandbox setup kinda holds it back. Some events definitely make you wonder if it's bugged or if you missed a step, plus the day mechanics are kind of annoying. Also, the UI... having to click in and out of every character just to check for events or see their name gets old pretty fast.
Btw, how is this still allowed on Patreon? I'm genuinely curious since they usually ban projects like this pretty fast

I'm not sure how he is on Patreon, but it's one of the games I'm happy to subscribe to. He is very consistent with updates, and the art and animation have greatly improved. The sandbox and day mechanics are still kinda buggy, as is trying to figure out how to trigger events. But overall its a fun game.

A combination of things. Koikatsu gets an easier pass. With the models being more stylized, it's more plausible to say "that's just the art style, they're all over 18." The girls' ages aren't stated, and the game is set in "school," so you could say they're all seniors, I guess...
Contrast many games+, where ages are stated or the setting and context make LIs explicitly underage. To be honest, I respect both approaches. I really like when the dev has the courage to call a spade a spade, but the nods and winks from a game like this feel sly.
