Seems like PA2 is gonna win at the moment, hope not, I want DD dammit even though it's currently 150 votes behind. PA2 is actually my least favorite after the sandbox elements were added.

Come on, the "sandbox" elements aren't too bad. It's just the same story except you choose which aspect of the story you want to tackle first. It's not like having to click through 100 menus to earn 500$ just so you can earn another scene. Or grinding stats.
But yeah, seems like DD and RWP are cooked but no surprises there.
DD is a fresh game with very hardcore themes.
RWP is... I don't even know. Silver pines as the first game got eclipsed by the Lost guardian and PA too. Don't mind it being cancelled and or put on hold. The whole corruption of his daughter was kind of rushed and introduction of supernatural elements didnt help.

Most devs do not care about their rl ID as long as it's not visible to every Joe Schmoe, otherwise there goes all regular platforms anyway since you need to give them real life details to get paid either way (ie bank info, who in turn asks for ID to open that account). Not sure if that would be better than crypto otherwise or not, most people these days are impatient and lazy as fuck and don't feel like licking an envelope and mailing it compared to when mom or grandma ordered something from some TV infomercial, mailed them a check, and then waited 8 weeks for it (I kinda remember those from when I was a kid, not that I was old enough to even understand the use of what they were selling or whether it was a good deal or not since any money I got was just given for free by simply asking/begging).

As far as being tracked by China who cares? That's a doesn't-matter situation as long as you don't plan to visit China, no matter what you do they can't arrest you or similar otherwise, unless it's something very unlikely like murdering one of their tourists or something and getting extradited for that (most likely you'd just do the time in whatever US state you happen kill them, maybe federal if they frame it as a hate crime, though that's a stupid law to me, since you killed them either way, why did it matter if you hated them before that or not or whatever the reason or lack thereof there was other than self-defense when the end result is the same?).

To me ideally the only pause in between scenes is for choices which control which scenes you get and where the story goes (though often the overall plot is set in concrete with very few endings if there's even more than one, just different paths to getting there). I'm sure it would have gotten better later but it sucks when I pick a path and it essentially says "this is just a placeholder with no content yet, check back next update" and I do that 3x in a row to where I almost forget what the MC (aka me) was trying to do and have to keep doing that to be sure I ran out of things to see.

The problem here is not the devs are being personal targeted irl. The problem the devs are facing is finance companies denying their transfer.

Second to that, tracked by the chinese wont have them bust in a house in Ohio to grap you, unlike being in america using any american apps. So in your logic all American should use chinese apps instead of home grown because of safety issues

I do get what you mean in terms of the immersion. At the same time, one could treat it as sort of a checklist or diary that MC has. The placeholders are imo understandable, in essence its an "early access" game. I'd say The Lost Guardian is WAY worse in terms of the immersion breaking because it has that pointlyssly pointless "dungeon" crawling part. Sure, sure. It's optional but it still takes development time.

Real immersion breaks for PA, in my opinion that we share, are the 18+ later hard coded answers. Unfortunately due to differently aged girls, it really makes it hard to make the time of a timeskip more consistent.

Would be awesome if Seath simply said 'fuck it' and removed the adjustable age all together. Instead having the ALL the games time skip based off youngest daughter there.

I've been to China last year for half a year. No problem with this ot the other site. I almost lived here in Lewdcorner during that period. The internet there in a bit restricted (especially the Google services) but still it is not the worst I've seen so far. Europe is quickly catching up actually.

Good. Exactly two BH games I still care about. Well, I wouldn't mind even Blackheart Hotel being completely reworked with decent streamlined plot and better graphics. The original game was just barely tepid. But we have to be realist.

Well, maybe after his own site is up he will quit giving a fuck about trying to piss on platform TOS's while telling them it's just rain (they are obviously not as stupid as they once were) and make what we actually want; no age adjuster, no fake adults trying to be passed off as midgets and pigmies, no 3rd party patches necessary to fix inconsistencies caused by the age adjuster, or other bullshit. Do like OSIL did and Just make them 10yo or whatever the story calls for by default and without any idiotic and pointless disclaimers no one gives a fuck about stuck right in the middle of the story every scene. Without other platform boots on his neck it would actually be easier when there's no TOS to give a shit about and only what his supporters vote for on his own site anyway.

Hope he's self-hosting as well, otherwise they will just snitch to his host and to Cloudflare like this site had to deal with early on. Sure, he could get a host that won't ask questions and ignore the snitches but those are expensive (no risk = no reward). Whoever the snitches are hope they all die in a fire after getting cancer and the chemo makes them sick for nothing (hope they hold their breath too so the burns actually kill them rather than simple smoke inhalation).

One can hope. But I if I'm being honest I think Seath is way too deep in his way of working and that's why adjustable ages won't change. Neither more specific, "loli centric" language would appear.

Also no surprises the fanbox got banned. They are as strict as patreon. Even stricter towards westerners.
