If you had a say in any game before 2020 getting a full remake what would you pick? Im talking from the engine up. Graphics, sound, physics, etc. The only things that stays the same is the story, character, dialogue, etc.

San Andreas getting an actual full fledged 100% try remake, not the borderline phone game we got a few years ago.

Maybe GTA 4, too. It's been 20 years.

That's a tough question... Maybe Half Life. The game was great back then. Though I'm not sure if I'd play it again even if it they did remake it

Already happened! Check out Black Mesa, its pretty damn good. Though they did cut the On A Rail chapter which a crime. Someone remade the whole chapter as a mod though so you can just get that from the steam workshop.

I thought that was a mod at some point... That's pretty neat

Ok here's a weird one: Resistance for the PS3
Would be interesting to see what that idea could be now.

I think it started as a mod but it got big enough that valve endorsed it. They spent like 2-3 years making Zen from scratch and threw out the old levels completely. Its probably the most universally hated part of HL1 though so I get that desire to change it.

I'm cheating a little, but I'd say Mass Effect trilogy.

(At the time of the third game, it caused quite a stir that gay sex was possible.)

I would be interested to see it happen. I feel like games younger than mass effect have already gotten that treatment for better or worse. Maybe a studio like Owlcat or even Larian could take a crack at it.

I need me a Command & Conquer: Tiberium Sun (plus Firestorm) remake. That game would be sick af with modern graphics.

Now it wouldn't be controversial anymore; it would almost be the opposite.

I don't know Owlcat, but Lorian is already working on a new game that looks amazing.

Def consider checking them out! I'd call them something of an underdog Larian. Super ambitious to the point of pushing up against their budgets. They made the Pathfinder games and 40k Rogue Trader

GTA Vice City but a little more explicit since we get to run a porn studio in that one. Management of that studio and porn scenes should be part of it.
Vandal Hearts.
Both the original Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series.
Fallout 1 and 2.

I can absolutely agree with GTA . I loved that game.

Thats fair but it would be interesting to see how they do it and how it would play on all the newest tech.

I dont like remakes, i prefer new games to be made.
Thats fair as well. Not everyone does but with so many bad new games sometimes it might be beneficial for them to remember what was successful to learn to make good games again.

Ill have to look that up and see what its about but it sounds familiar

I can see how this would be great. though i never played the games much.

Fallout 1 and 2 would be amazing yet id be worried theyd fail to really capture why the games were great. Baldurs gate 1 and 2 would be amazing especially seeing what they did with 3 on the new hardware.

I'd like to see Golden Sun remade

Ive never heard of that one. Whats it about?

It's an old gameboy game that was like a classic turn based RPG with Zelda puzzles. It had a fun story, a really great battle system with good customization options, and an amazing soundtrack. It had a sequel that was even better and it's honestly a series that deserves a good revival.

They're a ton of fun. They're available to play if you have the nintendo online subsciption I think. Alternatively you could grab your nearest eyepatch and peg leg and just emulate it.:ROFLMAO:

Remaking all of the previous Zelda games to TotK quality would make my day.
