I learned that the uncanny vally effect might be an evolutionary trait.

Thousands of years ago there were multiple types of "humans" and that they maybe sometimes hunted and ate each other.

So they would look similar to our branch of the evolutionary tree but not quite and so it's a left over feeling of unerve that is left over.

Like a danger response

Whether that is true or not I don't know but I read it somewhere

yeah, but making money on it requires ppl support on patreon or such.

My take is there are grades to homosexuality/heterosexuality, like having interests in the sexual act but being repulsed in one or both of the partners is too feminine/masculine.
