anyone played Dantes Inferno? is it any good?

I played it a long time ago and remember thinking it was alright. If you've played God of War, DMC, Bayonetta and are looking for something along that line then for sure try it (but if you haven't played those I'd recommend just playing them instead :3)

Combo system was a bit weak and there wasn't anything to really show off the combos against. The game also really leaned hard into the angst so trying to play flashy kinda rubbed against the general mood of everything.

I’ve never played it, but from what I’ve seen it’s like a classic God of War with a touch of Christianity. People who like the classic GOW and Devil May Cry games usually love it.

Well i started it today, just 2 hours ago and it is good, obviously heavily inspired by GoW, nice executions and i love the Absolve or Punish system

For the 2 hours I’ve played, I think dodging and parrying and just staying on the ground is more rewarding.

Why not recommend After the Inferno by a Classy Lemon....seems close enough to Dante's Inferno...

Gameplay-wise it is good but you can find better games in that style, but i loved the aesthetic and the setting. If you think it looks cool, then it's worth playing imo.

If you like the hack and slash genre, it's a great game. I even started playing it and felt the urge to read the books before continuing, and I don't usually read books.

The game is very faithful to the book, and I find it very interesting to compare the two works, which are both excellent. Regarding the Lovecraft Anthology, some people recommended it to me, but I haven't researched what it's about. Is it good?

Well, the game is amazing (I’ve only played for about 4 hours, but I’m going to play more in a couple of hours). I love the representation of the levels of hell — it’s incredible. And about the Lovecraft books… I’ve only read around 40 pages so far, so it’s too early to say much, but it’s definitely intriguing. I really want to keep reading, but I have to wait until tonight

I usually don't read either, but while we're on the topic, the games that gave me the urge to read were the Stalker games and the Metro series. The games are amazing and the books they're based on are just as good. Can't recommend enough.
