All it took was pouring my heart out and the reactions gave me that sweet 10 coins that just carried me to 250 I had 100 and did double or nothing and just got 150 from a blackjack im freaking out....

Man, my laptop finally gave out today. The audio was crackling all day and then, of course, after I hit it out of frustration, the sound just died completely. Classic.

I’ve been using this thing for almost 10 years, so I figure I deserve a new one at this point, but I still want to repair the old laptop too, just in case I need a backup.

This machine has been through so much with me. The battery even bloated (super dangerous, could’ve exploded), so I had to remove it myself.

And to top it all off, I just bought a new phone, so my budget is already tight. Anyway, does anyone know a good mid-range gaming laptop under $1,000?

At least there’s a silver lining: the audio still works if I plug in an earphone. When I disconnect it, there’s a faint crackle and then silence.

I asked ChatGPT, and it said something about the speakers being blown or disconnected internally from a fall. I had just praised it for surviving a fall… and, of course, I jinxed it myself.

I’ll take it in for repair, but they might not have a replacement in stock since my laptop is out of production. I’ll try anyway, maybe ask the salesman if there’s something in my budget range. Wish me luck.

update on my gambling journey: i lost ten coins in 3 spins and ran away with my tail in between my legs...... on the bright side, i could have lost fifteen, but i got the pity win of it just giving my money back with the cherries, a metaphor im sure for popping my casino cherry

if you have had a similar experience popping your cherry, where they give you your money back, then you have either done a very good, or a very bad job

i should participate, i have been looking at the themes but i always catch them late, the last one i saw was star trek....... something i know next to nothing about so i opted to skip that i will be keeping an eye on the thread just in case i get a blast of inspiration

be careful with that battery, it is a fire hazard! lithium batteries tend to swell like that and it should really be disposed of i am sorry to say...... if it does decide to combust, which is extra likely if you drop it (again... ) the smoke itself is very toxic and such fires are very difficult to put out. many of the early e-scooters had this same problem with their batteries, as well as many phones.

Haven't played the Nioh games (yet) but the original Dragon Quest VII is one of my faves, and the last main series Dragon Quest game was really great as well :3

CK3 is easier to learn and more roleplaying especially with, the overhaul mods.
Also better adult mods since some adult mods use the 3d models to actually have a sex scene...

CBO (Character Body Overhaul Unofficial one since the original is no longer updated)
Some animation with compatch if you can find one
Carnalitas, Then the compatch for what Mod you are playing for AGOT or Elder Kings.
Or any other popular overhaul mods with compatch for the adult mods...
Still waiting for Avatar to release so I can capture Kyoshi in a run....
Also hope the Fallout mod really happens since the wasteland Fan Fork is too boring for me.

Just wait for sale of the base game -70% was the highest sale that is recorded base on SteamDB
Ask for DLCs just go by their review score or find a youtube video on which has the best features.
I generally just pirate the DLCs but some people do not like pirating dlcs in their steam account since they fear getting banned which has never really happened in paradox games since it is a single player mostly game. Even when i got scared of bans if I used my main steam account I just have a original base game for easy access to updates and workshop and have a full on pirated latest version.
