As far as I know, games are still dealing with censorship on itchio. The whole payment processor was a convenient excuse for them, they been practicing censorship for quite a while. Them being based in globo homo shit city (San Francisico) ought to tell you if you're an American.

In general, the discussion has cooled down, but the problems haven't. Payment processors continue to screw others over so that they align with their ideals, or else they screw them over. It's extortion, pure and simple. Right now, the most serious issue is Steam blatantly screwing over Japanese releases because of their content, strictly looking for even the slightest reason to ban releases.

But about those horrible women... they got so much hate that they've toned down their stupidity a lot. They're still just as stupid and annoying, but they try to stay under the radar.
