It would really depend on the personality of the computer and I feel like most personalities would not be thrilled with my computer usage so I'd probably have to stop using it lol

I didn't even notice the changes to the values since I last looked. I thought it was 1 coin per comment and 3 per reaction. I don't think I'm a fan of that change.

As a new person myself, the cooldown on reactions restricts me from giving them out a lot because I forget to go back and react once the cooldown is over.

But you manage to give them.
I'm in the same boat with the cooldown. I doesn't bother me that much.
It prevents abuse from new accounts to boost and you have to consider which posts receive it.
So spam doesn't get rewarded as much.

the cooldown + ADHD means I forget a lot because I can't use it enough to build up the habit. I do try and be mindful of using them when I do though because I like how the coin system plus reactions can reinforce positive community engagement.

I'd also rather have new accounts able to spam reactions that only earn coins for other people than comments which just clog up conversations. There's no direct personal incentive to spam reactions like there is with comments.

I think this promotes a desire to mass create new accounts, to spam reactions to main account, and this fucks up forum databases.

I'm not sure about this site specifically but, as far as I'm aware, forum mods or admins should generally be able to put things in place to limit things like that or alert them when a comment is getting a disproportionate amount of reactions. It would have to be moderated but so do comments and I think spam comments are more disruptive to a forum than spam reactions.

I should also mention one new guy here earned his m+ in 3 days, I think that's more than fair.

I'm not sure who they're referring to or if they mean before or after the rollbacks but I got it in 2 days right before the rollbacks removed it and then deleted my account.

it was mostly through reactions since I think they were worth 5 coins at the time.
