Hi, all.

I'm the deviant that makes
Burned and Malignant, and I want to voice my displeasure at this new active member thing.

Lewd Corner has been a very reliable hub for my updates. It's actually the only hub I maintain. For months, I've been working away on V.3 of Burned and excitedly inching toward the day I can post it here for everyone to enjoy.

Except now, not everyone is going to be able to enjoy it.

Let’s be real: most people visiting this site and playing these games are trying to get off. They don’t have the time or inclination to post meaningful replies on a forum. When I’m not actively engaging with an update I just released, I use this site just like any other anti-social pervert, spending maybe five minutes on this site doing the following:

1. Clicking ‘Latest updates.’
2. Finding a game.
3. Downloading the game.
4. Closing LC and playing the game.

If I didn’t have Dev Status, I would not have the motivation to jump through the hoops to find the hidden section where my games are currently located. I love you all, but I simply don’t have the urge to spend 16 hours actively nitpicking the finer points of NTR with strangers. Hell, even with Dev status, I can't find the Burned and Mal pages without going through the notification button.

Foster an active community by all means, but please don't force it by restricting access to my games. I put an absurd amount of work into these projects—like ‘oh my god what the fuck am I doing with my life’ amount of time—and when I’m done, I present them exclusively on Lewd Corner.

Call me selfish, but I don’t just want the quality active users playing my games; I want the anti-social perverts, the basement trolls, and undercover feds to enjoy them, too. I want the shame-filled fappers who never say anything because they’re too busy crying in the shower afterward.

At the very least, can Admin remove the sinner status so I can be lumped in with the easy-to-access normie games? I’ll happily remove/censor any iffy screenshots. Hell, I’ll even pull some Fuck95 BS and create a taboo patch… that will probably end up being like 90% of the game, but whatever.
Being brought out of lurking status is rough, Also I've enjoyed your games, (even if I cant see your game posts atm lmfao) I like the way you've written the stories. Thank you for your hard work on them.

Jan 2023 and his first and only post. Checks out. Hah
Heh, Yea. I usually just talk to you on Discord, or other authors. Never liked Forums tbh (Especially since I grew up on them. Brings back some nightmares of Early internet stuff)

Love that a dev whose games I have played took the time to write out their opinion. Shout out to @Deaufosse

If it makes you feel any better I am a basement troll putting in the work for access to your games again haha

Honestly I wouldn't have you change your games for the convenience nor change the screenshots or require additional patches 🙃 You games are enjoyable "as-is" and I like that I don't have to add mods/patches to your games to make them enjoyable.

P.s. keep up your amazing work and exploring the controversial/taboo!!!!

I mean.... is making people jump through hoops going to stop those Karens? They'll jump through hoops like everyone else. They're Karens.

Honesty, maybe we should just not be so blatant about the game's content in the screenshots? Auto-change the taboo words like Fuck95 so it's all step dads and step-sisters.

That is honestly my biggest wtf about this entire thing. Do people REALLY think that spending a few hours to get access is going to stop someone from doing something they have already spent the last several months, over separate instances doing? All its doing is causing bullshit for every other person viewing the site has to now deal with.

Like just getting rid of the simple latest updates page for the restricted section had such a negative impact to my experience on this site, its now to the point where I just check in every so often to see what other shit is happening rather than actually look for a game.

Then instead of crying like this, offer some ideas to forum admins on what to do so that Karens don't report every restricted game to the point that server hosts declines host service to this forum.
Karens/Trolls/LEA/Whatever will ALWAYS be around. This is not something new. They've always been around. This isn't something that is isolated to just LC or even the adult game industry. It goes all over the place. Hell, it even stretches to the Dark Web and that's as far as I'll go on that particular topic.

The bottom line is that there really isn't anything you can do to avoid it. In fact, all the steps that are taken to make the forum "safer' are just a temporary road block for them. As determined as WE are as readers/horny goats to get new games and updates, they are just as determined to stop us.

Second, part of the problem is that the requirements were put into place overnight and they've changed multiple times overnight. Admins are simply reacting to something and not actually listening to the forum or putting any sort of logical thought behind anything.

Furthermore, your attempt at delegitimizing the OPs thought and well worded sentiment towards the new ranks and requirements is rather petty and pointless.

Well wrote, they will find their way, i have seen ppl even pay money for a sub on twitch just so they can get access to the chat and to troll the streamer, most countermeasures do not keep them away forever.

I have to agree with Deaufosse. It is a royal pain in the ass...but I doubt it will stop prospective Karens from being Karens.

Deaufosse,I'm a huge fan of your games and I love them so much that I check in almost every once in a while to see if you've updated.

Obviously, some of them are going to power through it so they can keep reporting, but I do think with each obstacle, you deter people. Is it a meaningful amount? IDK, I guess we'll just have to see.

Thanks for your moral (immoral?) support. I really liked Burned at least, the other was a bit much for me. Looking forward to an update.

For what it's worth, your work is bringing some happiness to some folks who might not have a lot otherwise. I hope you don't get too discouraged.

I'm hoping they can find a way to make the requirements more lenient, or maybe add some kind of manual review system. Member since September 2022, with 41 hours online, but only 9 replies. It seems ridiculous that this wouldn't be somehow automatically approved. Not looking forward to grinding out 26 throwaway-but-not-throwaway posts because of this, but this is the best resource I know for this kind of content.

This anti-social pervert literally logged in today for the first time in a month or so just to check if you had released an update to Burned yet and found myself locked out of the thread. It's not even in my "watched threads" list anymore. Guess the 2 years I've had an account here as a lurker don't count for shit.
I feel ya.

September 2022 so I'm not quite there yet, but this is the biggest hit for me, too. I was watching a lot of threads. Not looking forward to put the list back together after they let me in again.

The list seem to be still here. You just can't watch treads in it. The new rules broke something in list printing. I have like 4 page of watched treads I can see the first page but it only have two games in it, second page have like 7-8 in it. Third page have zero so it forbid me to go see page 4. I think the list are still here you only can not see the games on it.

Yeah, I fully see your argument. This new implementation might make the site easier to regulate and damage control for the forum admins, but it BLEEDS devs of potential financial supporters who might find their games here. If I ever made a loli game (big if) I would probably not want my primary platform be LewdCorner since my potential client base would be severely limited both now and in the long-term.

Thanks for starting this thread @Deaufosse. Hope you don't mind if I pick your brain with a few questions.
  • What do you think of the new paywall and that even less people will see your game on LC now?
    • For me, given the long update cycle, it would have been unlikely that I found Burned had it not been on LC. If I hadn't caught Burned when it updated and ended up on the front page of Latest Updates, it easily could have been lost with all the other games. That would have been a shame because Burned is amazing.
  • Also, do you feel its fair that all users who did have access to the restricted section prior to this new system don't anymore?
    • Only users who were grinding for that short period of time got to keep the member+ badge for free. That was after the requirements were removed, with no opportunity for users in progress to complete them.
  • Last question. Are you going to stick with LC or find another site because of the new requirements?
    • We all know pirates aren't going to start paying simply because someone dropped a paywall in-front of them. Nor are they going to bother becoming social butterflies because of posting requirements. Whether or not you are going to leave LC, I would recommend updating your signature to include links where people can support you. Since many users now can't see your games' pages, they also can't see your current links for anything besides the inactive Pixiv link in your profile's sidebar.

Especially since, if I were to pay anyone it would be a dev, not LC. LC expecting people to pay them for the ability to download pirated games is crazy imo. LC is leeching off the value created by actual devs.

Yeah I doubt these measures will do much but delay the inevitable, we shall see

As a former lurker, I really appreciate a dev speaking up. I personally didn't mind having to creep out of my shell to start taking part in discussions. So when I saw how many people were up in arms about the new system, my reaction was "Meh. If I can do it so can everyone else." I never once thought how a dev would react to this change.

Although I think life-long lurkers like me can benefit from interacting in a community, for a dev who wants as much exposure to their games as possible (even on a pirate site), I can see how this new way of doing things negatively affects you.

I agree that since you are willing to make a patch to better align your game to the non-sinner pool of games, then LC should move your game so that all can enjoy.

Perhaps keep the system as it is now. However, if a dev requests that their game is available to everyone, then adhere to that request. Just another thought in a sea of thoughts.

By the way, I love the degeneracy of your games. Never stop being a deviant. :)

When there is a patch or mod it ends up listed in the original post.
The"Moral Warriors" are still going to report it because it even has an unofficial patch that allows it to become sinful.
Completely unsurprising that they don't recognize their own sin. They never do.

Humans. smh

I agree with Deaufosse.
I agree with Kavinsky trying to find some semi-reasonable way to stop getting the entire site threatened, even though it's the very reason for the existence of the site.

Then again, I agree with just hanging Karens in public, so what do I know?
