My workday is done (I hope,) and now maybe some time for some relaxation. When I logged in, I saw there was a new message stating the situation about the P5 saga. I sort of lost interest in the details with all the grind involved.
Kind of like "A Wife and Mother," which BTW also has a new update out. I figured that by the next update it will be titled "A Widow and Great-Great Grandmother." By then she (I forgot her name since I gave up long ago) will finally do something wicked with her 3rd cousin twice removed.
Now back to catching up and liking people.

I lost interest 5 hours in... it felt a bit clunky to me. While I enjoyed watching the movies, I'm not a huge fan

Just saw it came on gamepass so I’m giving it a chance, I’ve seen the films but was never the biggest fan

I'm sure it is a decent game but it feels to me that many new games try to be modern and fancy at any cost. Implementing new graphics technologies which don't make it look better but eats up performance... and while focusing on the new stuff, they forget optimization and properly using what worked before...

True, Most complaints about Unreal Engine 5 aren't the engine's fault as much as it is devs refusing to dedicate time to optimize their games in order to meet deadlines and make shareholders happy, look at Expedition 33, UE5 but runs flawlessly in comparison to other games running it as well

A game that amazed me in visual quality and performance is split fiction. Runs at high frame rate and looks amazing. A great and creative coop game to kill some hours. (not NSFW )

My "Gear Grinder" is adjacent but not quite the same - In my case it is when people comment on my post -- but do not give me a reaction of any kind. Kinda like taking my cousin to the prom (again) All the work -- none of the reward I mean would it be all that difficult to appreciate my efforts and click "like" ?

incredible how long the dev has managed to draw it out. it's not even a bad game but we will all be dead before it gets finished.
