What is the best AI game so far for you?

Summer Camp was promising. Unfortunately it's abandoned.

I didn't play much of them, but for now it is Girl Scout Island for me.

Of Devotion and Despondence is a strong contender. Art itself is pretty good, but beyond that the dev did what so many AICG devs don't and actually attached the renders to good game with a solid story and enjoyable gameplay.

Camp Arcadia for me is by far the best AI game, the creator improves the game with each update, the guy is incredible, always with additions that improve the designs and even included videos in the latest update.

Is summer camp an AI game? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what the term means.

The summer camp I'm aware of looks like 3DCG.

Not played many AI based games, but from the ones I have tried, Mila AI or Shadows of Ambition are okay if you're into that type of genre.

They're not fully animated, but I'm pretty sure Mila AI has some animated scenes, but it's been a while since I played. I played Shadows recently and it does have some animated scenes.

I agree, the artwork in this is very consistent. But the dev said it was a multiple step to get it right

iirc he draw or use 3D to create the scene then do the AI convert

Not seen anything like that, so i'm not sure. But i'd also be interested in trying something like that. It would be pretty cool if done right.

I would like to try something like that.

That was kind of what I was hoping for. I think combining the open-endedness of LLMs with some actual gameplay structure would be really fertile ground to explore it.

I've played around with character cards and such that try to mimic something like a trainer game, but they don't tend to really work that well... at all.

It looks like fort of chains 2 is looking to integrate some local LLM functions in generating description text, which is interesting. The first game was kind... meh... a lot of RNG and fatally it was just very vanilla in terms of content allowed. I'm sure it will still avoid certain spicy topics but apparently the code base is going to at least allow dicks with chicks. (and as we all know, the only thing better than dicks in chicks is dicks on chicks)

What constitutes an AI game?
From my own experience, I've AI for a bunch of text adventures and they worked quite well. The best thus far were novel ai and ai dungeon, novel ai require a lot more technical setup, but has less censorship. While ai dungeon has more models, out of the box content and less hassle with setup, but is pricier and some of the best models are censored. But you can bend deepseek past censorship with right configuration.

Either it is Artworks, Coding, or writing that is purely written and or majorly used AI Tech is how I would classify it
