The problem is the payment processors. Even if there was another platform that he could go, sooner or later he would run into the same problem. Unfortunately this is something that we and him can't do anything about it. He clearly wants to work on the games, people want to support him, but the censorship machine doesn't like this type of games. The only option would be crypto but most people don't want to use that so he probably wouldn't be able to earn enough using that, to work on the games full-time.
Best thing he can do if he still wants to make games, it to just work on something safer without petite characters.
Is it feasible to choose websites that use tokens as payment methods? For example, I know Unifans, a website where if you want to subscribe to a creator, you need to use their "Gravity Tokens", which need to be purchased separately. In this way, the payment platform is not directly connected to the creator, because the payment platform only knows that the user has purchased something called "Gravity Tokens". I don't know, maybe it works?

Jumping through payment loopholes doesn't really solve the issue, and you can run into the same problem no matter how you obfuscate it.

While the best option is a completely something neutral like buymeacoffee, even that has it's own massive headaches and isn't even completely immune. People seriously undermine the logistics and feasibility of getting traffic there, the user wondering if they are donating to the right person, etc. There are people like myself that will also only donate through something like this, or a crypto address for the privacy and safety reasons as well.

Aside from payment I'd imagine the main issue that probably tilted Ketzal the most was having the discord nuked. It's extraordinarily difficult to maintain communication, feedback, requests, testing/bugs, community, etc without a proper platform. Having your own website runs the same risk of deletion but I think it's worthwhile to at least house payment links and update progress. If someone or enough people are dedicated they can get just about anything shut down, regardless of the content, but with that said given Luxxee's has stayed afloat for as long as it has, probably is a good practice.

This website and similar forums are sadly the best places to foster the communication, but since it's almost entirely useless eaters, most creators tend to avoid it.

buymeacoffee has banned plenty of devs. So yea that is definitely not a good way to support these types of games.
There was probably a way for him to get his SS page back to normal and if he wanted he could've just created a new discord for supporters only. He could've also tried to create his own website and use Subscribestar's api to verify the the tiers and provide the links for the games there instead of discord. That way the discord would be just a place to chat and people would get the game somewhere else. But even with all those measures, there would be no guarantee that he wouldn't run into the same issues again.
I don't think a lot of people here are taking into consideration how mentally taxing, dealing with those issues all the time must be.
I think anyone in his position would eventually reach a breaking point.

I'm very much aware (they don't allow any adult or nsfw content). I was just using it as an example for potential guised anonymity.

because everyone ran away.

one person gets screwed & the other 8,000 leave them there to rot, web history shows its standard behaviour
Oh I know the why...

but was just hoping someone could share a compressed version or make one. It's worth a shot, no harm in asking I hope

Yea.. it's official, he deleted pretty much everything from his SS and put it in vacation mode.

Unfortunately I don't think we will get a world like that, at least in our life times.
People do the same shit even with regular video games.
I don't think Ketzal will ever want to risk creating games like that. He just lost his livelihood because of that. The only good news here, is that he said that he will still make games, just not games with loli. He also mentioned in the post that he will "move somewhere else" and we will know where to find him. So it seems like he will probably just go to patreon with a safer game.
For the people that still want to follow his work and maybe support him even if he doesn't make game with lolis, I think you should pay close attention to new releases on cuck95 for the next couple of months.
Just to be clear I don't have any insider information, I am just speculating based on the stuff he posted on SS. I think he will either release SMTL under a different name on patreon or create a completely new game and post it there.
i see what a shame though i was pretty like his work so far best among all other games

I think he will probably see him again soon. Most likely using a different name and he probably won't take as many risks with the content as he did with SSP and EGBE. But as far as I know these games were his only source of income so he either tries to create another game or he will go back to having a regular job.
and yet, if you pay attention to the distribution model a la neko-hima. let for example we get Light and Dark pt 1-v0.2 - the main package is ~1 GB. the additional package is ~800 MB. and the additional package does not include either python or renpy or libraries - only RPA with additional content that is downloaded separately and stored separately, this could help K continue his projects, after dividing them into "legal" and "extra"
at least looking at Neko-Hima I dare to assume this.
(i think K can also get money for the main game and memo to get extra can be inside ZIP).
in the "basic", i.e. skeletal part of the games there will be legal content and the main plot, that is, to make a watered-down version of the game. which yes will require more work from the scriptwriter so that in the main part there remains what relates to the main plot - for example, scenes with Nicole, scenes with Macy, with all the MILFs including the secretary. and in the additional DLC there will be overlays for some scenes. of course, if the renpy allows overlays, that is, overlapping one RPY with another RPY with the same name, located in the loaded extra.RPA.
and maybe rework SSP for make flowering version.

in nature there is a tree called oak. it is strong. but it is not flexible and therefore a very, very strong wind breaks the oak.
there is a tree called birch. it bends under any wind. under a very strong wind it also bends even more.
but the wind dies down - and the birch stands as it stood before, and the oak - lies broken.
It is better for the K to stop being an oak and become a birch and not an oak. to become more flexible.
and then the SSP will probably get a better chance of living to its logical conclusion and the EGBE too.

I had a short talk with ketzal and besides him being frustrated and rumbling a lot about some people's reaction to the whole situation (which I will not quote here), he also asked me to pass on some words.

Hi, and thank you for your message.

[...] I am indeed working on other, very different projects. You'll find me eventually. Once again, I prefer to keep a low profile for a little while, and the less said about my old work, the better for me.
[...] I don't want to have anything to do with older stuff anymore. If possible, I'd like everything to disappear. People will recognize my work when I have a slightly larger audience than I do now.
[...] what happened hurt a lot, and [...] they should leave all my old work alone and move on.

If you could pass on the message, that would be very kind of you.

So if you stumble across ketzal (under a different name) in the future, please restrain yourself from mentioning his old name and work. At least in public.

Let's hope that some day, when he made peace with what happened and he finds a secure way to get support for his work, we will see some more games like SSP and EGBE.

Neko-hime even using that model, she has had many issues as well. She lost her patreon and I think she even lost her discord as well.
Don't get me wrong I would love for him to continue these games. SSP was by far my favorite adult game ever. I think he just reached a point where all the risk associated with creating a game like this, is just not worth it anymore.
Like I said in another comment. Having to constantly deal with this stuff, just becomes too mentally taxing.

Is it really all over?:(

Why doesn't Ketzel do what Blackheart Games did when they were creating The Guardian, for example? Well... I'll make it clear right now that I don't understand anything about this world, but I know how Blackheart Games managed to finish The Guardian, so... Well, it would be a shame if such an incredible project was thrown away :(

I mean it's not like blackheart games are immune to this kind of situation, if they don't take some preventive measures, it will probably happen to them in the future.
Right now it's really hard to monetize these types of games, and after losing his discord and now having his subscribestar shadowbanned, Ketzal just reached the breaking point. Unfortunately this game will never be finished.
Let's just hope that he decides to come back in the future under a different name with a safer game without lolis.

Keeping the taboo files a separate download will not even protect you.

Like I said before you can't beat the system the minute someone rats you out your done.

Some developers just get away with doing certain taboo games longer then others.

Bottom-line you can't commercialize these type of games, and you have to keep your sites clean.

Doing them as a hobby and being self funded is the only way. You wont need the exposure then.

Seeing EGBE die makes me feel like the games+ scene has essentially died. There are no other games with this type of content that are worth following. The "most" promising ones barely have a couple of miniature updates.

The only other BIG games here, are the games from blackheart but those are a darker and not for everyone. All the other big ones with somewhat similar characters, like radiant, ravenous and family faring, are on cuck95

Did you have any prior violations?
No, just the one. I suspect the reason for the harsh punishment is because I've been a member of that server for the longest time: almost 3 years.

What a sad news my friends.
I wish Ketzal all the best and good luck with his future projects.

And I hope that maybe in the future, when things calm down, his heart and desire will once again bring us these beautiful and wonderful lolis/shotas & milf characters.

I still think Found in Translation and My Daughter Forever are solid offerings. FiT gets consistent, if small updates. MDF is more sporadic. God Life is probably on equal footing with BHG. Maybe not quite SSP tier, but pretty damn close. Also we still have Director Games, but not everyone like Koikatsu, I guess... I don't love it unless it's well done. There are a couple others that are slipping my mind, but the point being G+ is not completely dead. There are still solid offerings keeping the section alive, even if they're less consistent.

eh no lolis = who cares, there's already literally thousands such games even just in Daz/Renpy (though far fewer completed) and already more than anyone can read in their lifetime, unless that's all they did for 15h a day for the next 50 years. I'm at the same point as music, movies, and vanilla porn: there's already so much I couldn't care less if another was ever made again, as no one will live long enough to run out of it and they would most likely be bored with it long before that point even if they could live to 500.
