I have a few adult games on Steam, mostly just to support the devs. If censorship of adult games is allowed because of a very small group of feminists, then what is next? any game that has sexy girls, or maybe too violent, maybe video games in general (they have tried that in the past).

If we as a society allow people to dictate what we watch, play, read or even think. Well you can see where that would lead. I feel sorry for the younger generation, and am grateful I was born in the 60's, I have had a good life with the freedom to enjoy life. It has only been in the recent years I have watched freedom being attacked from so many directions. My country (the United States) is so divided on issues that if we are not careful, we could have another civil war. And censorship is an attack on freedom.

But the real problems such as homelessness, riots, and crime are just ignored..... but OMG that video game has cartoon nudity.... IT MUST BE STOPPED !!!, but don't give a shit about real girls being raped, or hard working people being robbed.

I feel it's worth pointing out that the group behind it isn't actually a feminist group, it is an evangelical christian group that figured the easiest way to enact their fundamentalist christian views on others is by wearing a mask of feminism. You can tell because no feminist group, no matter how radical, would be encouraging things be banned for depictions of menstruation. But evangelicals? Yeah, they want that, and any other acknowledgment of how women's genitals function, censored. Same with furries, that's an issue feminist groups don't discuss, but evangelicals have been condemning and trying to suppress for decades now, and CS is right there with them.

This isn't really a new thing either. This is a group of people who have been trying to control everything about other people's lives ever since they were first established, and unfortunately they have been very successful at getting into powerful positions in various places the past decade. Further discussion of that would definitely violate the "no politics" rule though :/ I guess I'll simply say that evangelicals are, especially in the US, a very, very political religion, with the same aspirations as a doomsday cult.

Literally with Detroit: Become Human, a reason they wanted it banned was domestic violence against women, because of that segment where you are playing that woman droid getting attacked by the POS guy before fighting back and saving the kid. So either they are ignorant and causing harm with their ignorance, or they are knowledgeable and don't care because their goal is far more widespread than adult games. And given how evangelicals operate, I'm going with the latter.

They already got GTA 5 removed at Target in Australia. The game Mouthwashing has been delisted on steam as well. It's only a matter of time before they go after T rated games.

It was a nice surprise when I saw them, but good things never last long. The problem is not that a few incest games are getting removed from steam, the problem is what the credit card companies are doing. The solution at hand is obviously crypto and alternate payment methods. They deserve to go bankrupt for this, because their action are pure blackmail. As for the activist organisation that pressures them, I'm sure an investigation will reveal many missuse of funds on their part
