Making KiriKiri Engine games work on Linux/ Steam Deck

Games such as these Sleeping Princess In The Attic & 妖夢員: Nightmaretaker uses KiriKiri engine which use some pretty unique dependencies. Most of which can't be played in Linux by simply adding it in Lutris or Steam as a non-steam games and would most simply go to black screen or crash on certain parts of the game.

In order to make them work, Use this Guide;


I also recommend installing Protontricks and ProtonUp-QT beforehand from the Discover store so the installation process would be a lot more easier
as for Windows media player 11, Microsoft isn't archiving that and some asshole attacked the Web Archive so you're going to have to search elsewhere on the web for the installer and use Wine Prefix of the game through Protontricks to install it.
