Nope, this is a new EU Law. France has delayed it, but it is coming to all countries in the EU at some point over the next 12 months. If sites don't comply could be fined up to 10% of what the sites make or be banned altogether

I know Discord is not sure about Steam

Hope they keep that stuff in the EU. I like how my internet is right now
Lost my faith in steam few years ago they were talking about fighting the processors and then they get bent.
I hope GTA V gets removed so people finally wakes up and start blasting the Card Processors but until then I will just watch and enjoy the Chaos.

I guess government will be watching...untless you have a VPN that does not bow to EU demands for user data.

so you are saying get a vpn and pretend to be underlord in the philippines? got it

[DoverDad]

As much I hate to say this, but @Heisenberg @SeveredRealms might need to comply with this new fuck up law because you know as well as I do that all it takes is one fucking rat cunt to report the site. And if the EU finds out you're not complying because of that they find what's behind mem+, I
don't want to happen to you Guys what happened with the dev of PF, just trying to look out for you guys as well as everyone on this site.

I mostly VPN to Japan since that is what auto pic usually picks but I sometimes end up in Neatherlands and suddenly get Capchas haha.
VPN to the Philippines, as they say "It is more fun in the Philippines"

Lol reminds me of some slangs for "pine" -- Eg. How it's pronounced (peens)= slang for penis, or how "pining" over something= wanting/longing -- & how "flip" is a slur for Filipinos (and some others).

So one group goes "flip pine" (Eg. Going crazy over penis/sex), and another says the same "flip pine" (Eg. Fuck their wants)

[DoverDad]

Done a little digging on this, well, look at that, it fucking Karen that pushes this shit new law, oh, and if you think VPNs are safe. She is now coming after that next

Skimmed it & kinda sad.
That "How do we balance child safety vs adult privacy?".
Uhh, it's the parent's job for the safety -- especially since there are already ways for them to do something about it -- but nope, they go "let them be irresponsible so we can be controlling".

But how else are parents who dont want to be parents supposed to shove an Ipad in a kids face for the rest of the life so they can ignore them?

Always find it funny how kids now adays grow up with the tech but are more tech illiterate than ever.

This has to affect twitter right? I've only seen mentions of Reddit and discord but X is even more stacked than those.
I wonder how Elon's ego would respond to this, hopefully he'll make it entertaining.

Oh, I've not been keeping up to date on this particular side of things because of the whole steam and Itchio issue so I didn't know that it had already been implemented.

Don't like how the Stories forum was put in such an inconvenient spot. I don't know if promoting is allowed but I posted Part 2 of The Man In That Hat. If you like dirty smut with some illustration then there's that. I still hope to push more life into the stories forum. It is my true goal. Everette Thruston stuff next week
