Starship troopers was not dystopian enough to fight bugs...they needed to be more edgy haha

Ackshually.

The movie is not a dystopia but a satire of an overly militaristic future. Contrary to the book that glorifies the military almost to the absurd.

Amd talking of movies I just came home from the cinema, a couple of buddies and I just saw the new Superman movie, it was pretty neat a solid 8.5.

Yeah, Military was not militarying hard enough in my humble opinion

Will add it to the movies I will never watch....since I am too cheap to pay for movies now they are overpriced.
Hopefully, I eventually see it in a online pirate streaming site and watch it online in HD haha

Heck, so many answers. I expected only a few avid cheese enjoyers to answers. I enjoy cheese but dont really try much, now I got so many options from y'all lol.

Spoiler: Hit

It depends on the dish mozzarella for pizza, parmesan for pasta and we have a local dessert called "vigilante" (hang on with me it's a little hard to explain in english due to the words used) made with fresh cheese and has 2 variations, one with quince meat and another with a sweet potato jam(?). Here are a picture of each.

Oh damn, I now have some new desserts I want to try. Going to be interesting if I can find that where I live tho. Prolly going to have to make it.

Spoiler: WellMadePlanet

I like most cheese types but if I had to choose I would choose cheddar.

Mmmm, chedder. Prolly same, like most people here have said it's kinda hard to choose the best lol.

Spoiler: Recon

Yeah I really don't like cheese at all but I think pepper jack cheese is the one I can tolerate the most so that's the best.

Your opinion is slightly wrong, now perish. Tbh I dont think I've had pepper jack cheese. Prolly smth I should try.

Spoiler: uncbuck

Above all others -- gotta go with Pule cheese, is made from the milk of Balkan donkeys from Serbia. Nutty and wonderful!

Looks like there is another type cheese I should try haha. Never had Pule cheese before.

Spoiler: HarelM

Gorgonzola... no, cheddar... no, pepper jack... no, parmesan... [etc]. I have met cheeses that I don't appreciate, but not many.

Ah, a true cheese connoisseur I see. Never had Gorgonzola cheese before. Going to have to try that.

Spoiler: relldrih

Tie between Pepperjack and Muenster. Muenster is especially good as a grilled cheese sandwitch.

Ooo, muenster. You have given me a new cheese to try.

Spoiler: DeliriumTrigger

Hoffman's super sharp cheddar cheese. It's amazing.

Thank ye for blessing me with a new cheese to try.

One that will really knock your socks off is a smoked gouda. Absolutely incredible flavor

[Mashinich]

Spoiler

Smoked Gouda
Smoked Gouda is a special kind of cheese that is produced in the Netherlands and is a type of classic Gouda cheese. This cheese has a characteristic smoky aroma and taste.

Origin and production
Gouda cheese originates in the city of the same name in the Netherlands. The smoked version of this cheese is created by special processing:

The base is cow's milk, which is pasteurized and coagulated using special cultures and rennet enzyme.

The smoking process takes place in traditional brick kilns on smoldering sawdust of hazel or other types of wood.

The duration of smoking affects the intensity of the smoky taste.

Specifications
The texture is semi—solid, with a creamy consistency.

The taste is a combination of nutty notes with smoky undertones, slightly sweet and buttery.

The color is yellowish with a darker crust due to the smoking process.

The aroma is a characteristic smoky, reminiscent of the smell of a campfire.

Application
Smoked Gouda is great for:

Snacks — perfectly combined with fruits (apples, pears) and nuts.

Salads and pastas.

Sandwiches and burgers.

Cheese plates.

Casseroles and quiches.

Keeping
To preserve freshness, smoked Gouda should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 1 to 4 °C. It is recommended to keep the cheese in its original packaging or wrap it in parchment paper and then in plastic wrap. The shelf life is about 2-3 weeks, but for the best taste, it is better to consume it within 1-2 weeks.

Nutritional value
On average, 28 grams (1 ounce) of smoked Gouda contains about 0.6 grams of carbohydrates, making it a suitable choice for those who monitor their carbohydrate intake.

It's interesting that people are arguing about numerical symbols on an instrument where EVERYTHING boils down to ones and zeros It's a binary language, composed of sequences of 0s and 1s, representing instructions for the hardware. Every other programming language needs to be translated into machine code for the computer to execute.

I'm glad that Superman is getting good ratings, it would have setback DC so much if it was bad. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I read that this might one of the biggest movie making months every, with Jurassic World, which we saw on Tuesday, quite good. ScarJo is great as usual. I just got us tickets to see Fantasic Four the first Tuesday it's released

Well that wont be the case for long. World population is barely growing and that is just because of Africa. Outside of Africa and central Asia only a handful of countries are even at replacement rate.

But in those countries it's growing A LOT. They expect eventually 10 billion unless something drastically changes. That kind of change would likely require mass starvation or a disease that makes COVID at its most contagious time combined with its most lethal time look like the common cold. More growth in the developed world would be even worse, due to more damage to the planet per person there.

Well, those countries are just good at fucking and know overpopulation is better than inverted pyramid population.
You can always export excess human resources and labor which can also be a good economic tool for remittance.
