For my hottake: the more tags a game has the lower the quality is 99% of the time.

There's way too many "loss" games, where the MC is female and we have to lose just to see sex scenes.

damn yeah never thought about it like this... but 100%, too many games with a female MC just force you down a "bad" route to unlock lewd scenes, whereas in male MC games lewd scenes often are so much easier to unlock without locking you into a bad route.

Brother YES. It happened with "grandma´s house", now no matter how big the update is there is never enough time to all the LIs and some of them you dont see them for half a fucking year. WVM is the same but that game has way bigger problems that just the size of the harem

My hot take is Summertime Saga is overrated. Design is look so good, but the characters don't. I play these games to get some relief and a good time with my schlong not to get jumpscared every character i meet because they look 50. Maybe one day when i'll be 50 than i'll enjoy the game. I dont have problems with milfs, i like them, but if every girl looked like milfs in my school days, i would be a priest. That's it.

My hot take is maybe a bit of a doomer take. I don't think there will ever be a good porn game that combines deep gameplay and porn in a satisfying way.

In every porn game that I can think of gameplay is either very simple, like making choices in VNs, or so in depth that it the dev can't figure out how to incorporate porn into it.
A few examples would be something like Tamer Vale, I think the game has good gameplay, but the porn feels like an after thought, you get immersed in the card battles, finally kill the act's boss and then it's like okay, lets take a break from playing to show your character fucking the boss you just defeated.
Subverse has alright gameplay, sometimes, but the gameplay systems themselves feel entirely separated from the porn, you go from doing less involved xcomm style missions to then opening a gallery to unlock porn with points.
I think the closest game I can think of to truly incorporating it well is Monster Girl Club Bifrost, it has engaging management systems and the porn slots in well enough I guess, with it being scenes viewed while training the girls, but even there sometimes it feels unengaging because it is too frequently used, to the point where you end up skipping the porn half the time.


I would LOVE to be proven wrong, so by all means if you have any examples of porn games that have deep gameplay mixed well with the porn aspects, PLEASE recommend them to me.

The game was created as a sort of journal about her life so she could feel better and maybe even find the courage to do the actions sophia would do as sophia is her. If sophia can do them in the game and things go good i can as well. and the reason it hasnt progressed is because she hasnt progressed herself in real life. People in other places think im kind of crazy for suggesting that. Idk makes sense in my mind, I dont think its a one to one ratio as far as everything that happens in the game has happened in real life. Take so colder than 5 gum breath. Summertime Saga is very well designed even up to modern day standards. The idea that is overrated comes from the that it has been regressing for like the past 2/3 years. Its like the star citizen of porn games, impressive but for the amount of time and money sunk into it, not much anymore.
