discussion What kind of games/tags are your least favorites and why?

Personally, i prefer to stay away from NTR games, sissification, furry, and games that are 100% gay.

All the rest are fine, some only moderately, but that's cool too.

God, this.

The only flag that's just as red as NTR to me is when I see RPGMaker as the engine. 70% chance that you end up with some turn based combat taking up 95% of your time with the game, stretching 15 minutes of content over several hours

So I have been playing AVNs for a few years now. I have found lots of new kinks I never realized I had through a variety of games. Personally, I tend to avoid Futa, Sandbox, and Non-Animated games, but the only hard no for me tends to be Futa. It's just not my thing. Please let me know your thoughts. I'm genuinely interested in what themes are a HARD no for people!

as a player who has been playing vn renpy style games for years, if I have to give you a clear answer, I wouldn't prefer futa style at first, it's a factor that changes whether they're still in the game for me, some game makers make me get angry when they run into japanese style big dick fantasy, but they can be cute and sweet in some games, of course, it depends on your style of pleasure, I'm personally not gay, I'm open-minded, let's say it's a factor that can't be a problem if I'm the person on top and not doing anyting like jerk them or suck them, let's come to non-animated games as a short and clear answer, if the story attracts itself, I won't think you'll mind if the story attracts itself, and finally, I agree one hundred percent about the sandbox style, especially the rpgm and unity engines combined with this style of play drive me crazy my personal opinion is that I'm sorry for writing this too long, but as I said, try to try the first 2 styles, I'm sure you can find one that you like, I wish you a horny and great day

I also will avoid characters with some names of people I know IRL.

That's an interesting thing to avoid. I never really thought about that, but I also tend to rename characters (when possible) to names that are not those of people I know.

Same. A couple kinks that I realized I enjoy by playing games are feet (which I do not like IRL) and watersports.

I don't mind most types of fetishes as long they are optional and not forced in the game.

For sandbox I'm fine with it as long as they aren't too grindy or repetitive, otherwise they become a chore, an annoyance and a waste of time.

The top tags i generally avoid like the plague are:
Attribute tags: mind control, tentacles. A game with these tags are usually followed by the 3 other tags, which im ok with depending on the execution.
Game Engine tags: All RPG focused and related engines… nope

Gore, NTR, Futa. These three are abomination and shouldn't exist anywhere. Scat is okay as long as you can avoid. Cunny is fine but no real though. Sharing and swinging is NO NO.

Definitely text based games, i need pictures in my games. And i usually try to find what kind of NTR is found in the game before saying yes or no. Sharing and swinging is okay to some extent.
