What kind of scary things? İnstincts always active

Kids can get scared from anything, from ugly faces to somewhat dirty plush toy, as long as it's out of the norm and not trigger curiosity enough. And the disgust instinct is really hit or miss since some kid would hold their hand on a cup of tea so that no one would as much as breath on their drink by accident, while other will eat from the ground because ice cream fell on it. Heck, when I was a kid one of my friends literally walked around with a dead cat he found. Everyone ran from him like from fire.

Didnt think about the sex parts, but I do remeber wondering why there were no water in the bathtub orgie scene. Got scared at the riot part and stopped watching, fell asleep soon after so never finished it.
But the weird part is that it was at the kids shelf at the video store. And my kusins parents returned it without a clue on what we had watched.

True that -- These days if you have an old dishwasher / dryer / furnace etc its best to fix it if you can because the new ones are not built to last as long. My furnace went out after 35 years -- the replacement crapped out after 7. This is intentional. Dates way back to cars in the 60s and light bulbs in the 1920s when the Phoebus cartel, an international organization of lightbulb manufacturers, intentionally designed incandescent light bulbs to have a shorter lifespan, around 1,000 hours, compared to their potential of 2,500 hours. Basically living in a capitalistic society is like walking into a strip joint or a casino . Those places are designed to separate you from your money.
