Ok a better answer -- The sky appears blue because of a phenomenon called Raleigh scattering, where shorter wavelengths of light (like blue and violet) are scattered more by air molecules than longer wavelengths (like red and yellow), making blue light more visible from Earth. Oh Wait!!! A scientist said that so we KNOW it is WRONG!! Next thing you know they will be telling us we should vaccinate our kids and some guy on the internet said not to.

Today is Funday in my house which means everyone has to invite at least one other family member to share in at least one of their activities for the day. Can be anything, and everyone has the right to refuse - but the offer must be made.

This is a cool idea. My first pick would be to play a boardgame with someone, then videogame, then watch a movie.

I used to, I also used to like other winter activities. Ice fishing, Ski/snowboard, hunting, even never minded shoveling or snow blowing.
Now, I freaking hate snow and cold and winter itself. Also afraid of falling and breaking a hip. Long story short, I Agree...

I used to snowboard a lot. Then I discovered cross-country skiing and I fell in love with it. The feeling of being alone in the snowed forest is unique.

Interesting, I went cross-country skiing as a youth and didn't like it much, then I skied once or twice, then snowboarded a bunch. I wonder how I would feel about cross-country now...other than me avoiding snow as much as possible. Mmmm all the coffee

When I have a headache I usually take 3 extra strength acetaminophen. I'm a ginger, so it takes more than the average amount of pain killers to work.

That's not how you snowboard though, something is not adding up in this pose.
My friends and I go to resort in France every 2 years for a month, there is a 70/30 split with skiers and criminals. Though we all go to the same slopes, drink beer, eat lots of cheese... That reminds me, gotta buy a pass while its on sale.

I love correlation vs causation examples -- and am truly shocked at how many people fall for them.

1. Just because Amsterdam has a rising population of storks and babies does NOT mean that storks deliver babies

Well before my time. I remember when The Beaver was grown and fat when I was a kid. Ones my age were kids late 70s-mid 80s and teens late 80s-early 90s. And college students early-mid 90s, adults after that (and middle aged starting mid 2010s.)
