Evening, you beautiful degenerates.

Movie night was.. interesting. We ended up watching The Greatest Showman again after I made the decision.

It turns out the reason my son was so indecisive about the movie tonight was because he rather enjoys musicals and - unbeknownst to me - watched a few with his sisters. He wanted to watch Les Misérables tonight but wanted to talk to me alone before we all sat down together. Apparently some little cunt my girls have been hanging out with overheard him talking with his sisters about the musicals they've watched and chose to bully him at school about possibly being gay.

When I confronted my daughters, they both shot out of their room right past me after saying - basically in unison - "What the FUCK did she say?!"

They immediately went to his room and when I got there they were hugging and talking about it.

I was worried they might be allowing their friend to bully their little brother, but it sounds like the little shit has a lesson coming her way in the form of two fiery twins.

I decided that watching the movie he wanted to watch under the emotional circumstances wouldn't be the most enjoyable way he could watch it, so I decided we could re-watch a movie I suspected he enjoyed but didn't want to admit to.

Think I made the right call.

When "This Is Me" came up, I held him close and reminded him that his mother and I love him no matter what and his sisters have his back no matter what. I hate that some little bitch cracked his self-conscious. Even if it's temporary.

Next week, we'll be watching Les Misérables, and if my girls don't sort this little bitch out themselves I'll be making a few calls.

1.) Count your calories. (There are really easy to use apps to help you with this.)

2.) Cardio. (Take a walk and listen to music. Turn that walk into a jog. Turn that jog into a run. Take a bike ride, make sure you have your phone with you and just pick a direction and see where the ride takes you. Keep pushing how hard and how long you can pedal until you no longer can, or until you've found something beautiful along the way. Take a picture of it.)

3.) Cut out empty calories. (Replace regular soda with diet soda if you can, don't drink alcohol if you can, replace junk foods with whole foods even if it means fast food. Fast food that is high in protein is still better than a bag of chips.)

4.) All things in moderation, including moderation. (It's okay to have vices and appetites that aren't good for you, as long as you regulate them. Sometimes I have a taste for greasy potato chips, or cheap as dirt fast food from when I grew up poor. On those days I skip out on breakfast/lunch and just make whatever I crave be my total intake for the day. Still not "healthy" but having a bag of chips for dinner for one day is a hundred times better than eating regularly, and then snacking on top of that every day.)

5.) Let go of your negative self-image. (You'll always fail if you tell yourself you will, if you tell yourself you aren't good enough, and if you can't let go of not seeing yourself the way you want to be.)

Yeah.. my biggest issue with Blackheart games.

If you don't mind me asking, Baka, can you explain why and how you enjoy those darker games?

I ask, because games like PA and certain things Lilith in The Guardian did, as well as the antics of the twins in The Lost Guardian make me feel sick, and especially if we can't affect what the twins do in the future, I'll probably ditch the game entirely.

PA, and especially DD make me feel violently repulsed, and I know that's a me thing given that it's just fantasy, so if you're comfortable with sharing (either here or privately) I really want to know why and how you enjoy these games with these themes, because I want to try and understand.

If you're not interested in talking about it, that's fine too. No judgement either way. <3

First, that is so awesome that your kids have each other's backs. Your family sounds really awesome from everything you've said. Having an older sibling supporting you is a amazing thing.

Onto the performing. It's not super glamorous or anything. I am a choral singer for my church and some of the youth wanted to have this song for a service they were leading. They did the solos and the adults sang the choral portions. I've performed what feels like everything from traditional choral arrangements to silly stuff like "Hooked on a Feeling".

Kids can be unempathetic little assholes sometimes, lacking tact, because they don't really understand societal norms. It's either they are unaware or they mimic the behavior of others. Most often not their fault, just the way they're raised, the media they absorb, or the company they keep. Teenagers are worse, because they know more, but they're bags of raging hormones and angsty as all hell. I figure if they're dick'ish they can change for the better, but if they still act that way as a Full-Grown Adult, I consider them lost causes.

I remember when I was in my early teens, I played sports, had a lot of friends, but openly admitted to loving Musicals and Disney films. One kid used the -gay- insult toward me, which didn't phase me because I had older brothers. Of course, they used gay for anything they thought was dumb or lame. I'm actually guilty of it, as well, but I learned and stopped when I unwittingly upset someone. I've always been an opinionated guy, I will call a spade a spade. If someone is being a prick, I will say it. Although, I've never really openly antagonized someone, but I am guilty of saying hurtful things, unknowingly, that's life and growing up, we're only human. Most people can break themselves of bad habits, if they surround themselves with decent people, especially. If the people around them are more of the same, they'll fester into scum. I've straight up dropped friends for being toxic.

I admit we used to use gay as a kind of joke when we were younger on my school (Hell I still use it on my work), but we never though that much about it, two of our companions were openly gay and even though one of them didn't really have a good relationship with us it was more due to him being very annoying than due to his personality. I think we could have been a little more sensible about using being gay as a joke but when you are not really gay it kind of works so I don't really know (will still use it at my work, we are all adults and if someone has an issue with it they should really say it, don't have gay people on my sector as far as I know but even though there is little to no stigme where I am you never know if some family conditions or something else makes them hide it)

I'm not one for violence, I even love actions movies and gory Horror films, but the real shit I'm usually not okay with. Of course, there are a few exceptions. Sometimes people only learn if they get their ass beat, so when someone says some insanely idiotic thing that gets them knocked the fuck out, I scratch it up to karma. "Don't start none, won't be none."

I'm all in for violence, just not for conflict.

What I mean is while I was younger a group of companions and I used to go outside and start fights with each other just for fun, no hard feelings or anything, just wanted to make some excersice and have fun by fighting, otherwise I tend to avoid conflict unless it is necesary.

if I had to point to something I think it would be after the defeat of the monarcs and jin's restart of the timeline, even though there were some details that were lose it could be considered an ending, but no, it had to continue, and not exactly in a reasonable way, but I guess it could be just me.

Fate GO is turn based, except that, instead of each character having a turn, it's your turn (where you can choose 3 attacks, skills, etc) and the it's the enemy's turn.
The banners are more limited than Arknights, and the gacha isn't as "generous" (apart from characters, you can get equipment for them, and a lot of rolls are ONLY equipment)
I would post some of my favorites, but... I think their designs would make them need to go to m+, even with their official art

I just remembered I also got into Guardian Tales at some point (Maybe I should re-take it, the story was really good, but it was a mobile game)

I feel like shit. I feel like shit every day, actually. One day I had to get up early. I got up early and took a bath with not too hot water. I cleaned my ass thoroughly and now it's ready to splash and waiting to get dirty. Apart from that, I have to work 2x. due to the lack of staff at work, I had to work on the days when I should be considered official leave. in this process, I go to work and play games on my computer. I have to continue like this for a week.

I hope the girl that said these things learns her lesson but I refuse to feel a shred of sympathy for what my daughters decide to do to her.

I learned from growing up that the only way to get through to a bully is to beat them down until they're the ones that feel powerless.

Part of me who was bullied as kid want's to agree, but i know better by now. If we were talking about an adult i'd just agree, it might not be 100% the right thing then either, but so is the bullying coming from that person. But when you are talking about a kid, you never know where this comes from... it might be a malicious little shit that needs to learn a lesson, or it could be a severly mistreatd kid themselves that you can not 'beat down until they're the ones that feel powerless' ... because they already might feel powerless and bully just because of it. That's what i learned when parents and teachers 'convinced' my bully and me to spend time together to get to know each other. Of course it didn't work out, and it would take years for me to realize what the actual situation was (back then at 7-8 it was too much) but my bully was an actual victim of an alcoholic, abusive (by todays standards, back then it might still have passed as 'tough love') single mother.
I am not saying to have sympathy with the little shit just for the sake of it, but it might be better to make sure things don't escalate (especially if it was a one time occurance), at least not with only the kid ... the kids parents however are who need to be looked at, because they should be held accountable, no matter if they are just unaware, incompetent or malicious.

And all that hydrogen was horny and got attracted to each other and formed big sex-communities (we call them stars now) and then they fucked, making helium!
