i am old school gamer there was no p2w crap back then for me p2w gaming what destroy the purpose of gaming try to find 100% free to play game.
Yeah, all the battlepasses and daily chores in so many games really kills the motivation to play.

Think about it this way - You've had the same one hobby for years... or decades?
Mentioned it in another thread, but I really recommend finding a second hobby. It makes the time spent in both better, and you can cycle through them
If you don't wanna leave the PC, there's plenty of things to mess with. AIs, coding, youtube, 9gag, social media to get rid of some braincells.
Or maybe take a break from gaming and go on an pre-2010 movie binge. Just like with games, a lot of the older movies are a breath of fresh air from the current garbage being churned out

...or maybe some calm drawing?

In general, I agree. Perhaps the reason is age, I turned 44 in the summer. And I'm becoming more and more preoccupied with the problems of real life, not virtual life.

So most likely you're just growing up. And that's great.

I think we don't have that much time to get involved...so many other concerns keep us busy and when we do have time we no longer feel like playing because in the end it wasn't even worth our time.

I’ve been playing games since I was little, and now I’m 27, still enjoying playing games

It is not the woke shit or anything else. Just you became older and new generation become less nerdic and more casual.
Soon you will understand what boomers felt when they scolded our generation.

Game burnout is a real thing , take a couple of weeks break from games and try again then

Gaming has kept me here, so I dont know feel like atp I dont see it as something is fun or not. I see it as games are the only THING that im really passionate about. Whether it be making them, or playing them really.

I tend to burn out on games if I've played it multiple times or if I put to much time continuously. Now in days I'll hit a new game hard on day 1 and then I limit my time every day, it makes the game last longer and I find myself looking forward towards my game time.

As we get older, we become more demanding and we get tired of entertainment more quickly - too many "important" things to do... we become adults

That's not the only thing. We also get less curious and less exciting about things in general. And I think we shouldn't be like that. We should still keep those emotions alive inside us even if we are pretending.

I don't know what is happening to me lately but i feel the burnout ,you know i play lot of games like baldurs gate 3 , resident evil , elden ring ,black myth wukong, csgo2 u name it .

I play like hours and hours but now i probaly lasted like 1 hours++ and suddenly feeling bored

So i decided to go out and visiting a friend and playing together and it's still the same

Maybe because I'm playing games since a child and now I'm 24 yr idk :/
Or maybe games nowdays not fun because they added politics and woke shit
could be you just need to take a break from games for a bit or you could just need to go back and play the older games that were pure escapism like they used to be. good luck
