For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Just did a rewatch of Brandon Lee's The Crow and (besides a couple of city shots being very obviously models) it thankfully holds up nicely.

Conzi might come spread his love and we'll end up with a sentient meatball crying "Pappa, pappa!"
Could happen -- and in so doing could incur the wrath of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (may he bless you with his noodley appendage)

I have a question. Can someone clarify to me how to earn platinum coins and where to use them? Pretty new in the site.
As far as I know, your options are to either donate to the site or to impress one of the Moderators (like me) on the site.

The are other shows that try to do a similar style and are enjoyable, but I always return to the Twilight Zone.
Yep -- The Outer Limits came close - had more a Sci-fi slant than supernatural and while I watched both back in the 60s I preferred Twilight Zone

Are you actually "making" the pasta?
I have done it -- I was given a pasta maker as a wedding present 35 years ago -- Unpacked it finally 3 years ago and have used it 4 or 5 times - It is not that hard to do but takes a LOT of counter space - I think of it as a "show off" tool - only use it when I am having company

Thursday's Suggested Theme

"Neon Lights"

Let's focus on the setting today. Let's see our characters under the neon lights!

As usual, you don't have to follow the theme for the day, it's just a suggestion, so that people can have fun seeing what other's create with the theme!

Good luck, and I hope we all enjoy some amazing artwork!

Which Guz is better?
That's like asking which is better - New Coke or Coke classic. The simple fact is that they started using high fructose corn syrup instead of Sugar in 1985 in the United States because it was cheaper. - If you want the "real" taste of traditional coke you need to buy some that is bottled in Mexico - where they still use cane sugar. It tastes MUCH better and is only sold in glass. and -- especially on Taco Tuesday - is my drink of choice.

I'm a Dr Pepper guy, and there's one bottling plant here in Texas that still does cane sugar instead of HFCS and it's always better to me. It's a "cleaner" flavor. I don't know if anyone else really notices, but the sugar version has a slightly lighter viscosity that seems to allow the flavors to come through better. Might all be in my head, but it does make a difference in my level of enjoyment.

I find that a woodchipper, lime and a backhoe are more effective. ;)
Still waiting for the Woodchipper react -- That would come in so very handy (still want the sleazepig react too) .
