My feedback for The Daddy Plan.
Pros
Pros
- Cute younger characters (that thankfully aren't Growing Up For Daz monstrosities).
- Older characters that don't have airbags attached to their chest and hips.
- Consistent look for Rose and Rhoda, making them believably related.
- I appreciate a Redheaded male MC. Don't see too many of those in adult games.
- Too much dialogue that doesn't serve a purpose. The audience doesn't need to know details about renting a truck. While some information can be gleaned from these details (like not being rich enough to book several airplane tickets at the drop of a hat), the ratio of text referring to these details versus focusing on the characters and story is too high IMHO.
- Do the girls hate/love long roadtrips? Do any of them get car sick? Any of those details are more valuable than planning the car trip itself because they are expounding on the characters, specifically the love interests. It could also reinforce MC caring nature via text that states he knows which daughter will need motion sickness for example.
- Chloe (blonde twin) has eyebrows that are a bit too faint. Makes her look almost eyebrowless in some scenes. I would recommend darkening or solidifying them a bit in Daz. Not sure what hair shader is being used but I know for ColorWerks (2 or 3) that using the Scalp option on body hair seems to fix the issue without drastically changing the color.
- Sitcom-esque joke setups that are akin to an old school laugh track in text form. Its different, I'll give it that, but comes off as hokey. I put this part in Neutral because the sitcom vibe seems to be what this game is going for. So it is doing a good job at that, even if I disagree with its inclusion.
- The player seeing the thoughts of the love interests happens fairly often. Given how rapid the development of the relationships is, I'm not sure this aspect is needed at all. It is blatantly obvious through their actions and words that the various women are in love or falling in love with MC. Seems redundant to me and may annoy players who don't care for that particular VN trope.
