As a kid.. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween.. those movies were fun to me. You know what movie creeped me out as a kid??

Children of the Corn. The 1984 one.. not whatever slop came after that or remakes. Don't ask me why.. but those little fuckers gave me the heebie-jeebies. :ROFLMAO:
That fucking throat slit scene at the beginning, then the diner/ice cream parler with the apathetic children killing the adults and the blood splatter. Still haunts me, and it's another movie that people are mixed about, I actually really liked it, personally. I've driven through Nebraska and stopped at a town that seemed abandoned, with cornfields all over. Cars parked around all over the place, lights in the Gas Station on, nobody in sight. Limped my ass to the next town on fumes. If they were in church or some shit I'll never know, didn't stick around.

try Mushi-shi, episodes are mostly independent from each other and i think it's an easy enough watch
looks interesting, will definitely keep in mind!
Can comfy anime be a little horror and mystery?
I can recommend "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" at least the first and second season.
From like 2006 ish. :p
From what I've heard, this anime contains quite extreme stuff, I'm not sure if I will be able to watch it in my state after the dentist appointment 😅

Unnecessary why? They are in many countries a well known symbol that tells you: you'll get medicine/first aid here.

Or do you simply mean the sign consisting of single small light elements? Cause that's an invention that goes way back to one of the first and the shortly later following 'animated' billboards nearly a hundred years ago.
The cross itself is fine. I mean the fancy, bright, colorful light that makes you feel like you're in front of a club or a casino or something. Does not look like some serious business to me tbh.

The only movie that freaked me out as a kid was a made for TV horror movie they use to do at night on Saturdays. Never remember the name of it. But it was some gang of kids broke in a house started killing the family but the son was deformed and lived in the walls. But when they showed the mom after she was killed is what got me. Her head was ripped off and hanging to the side and her spine was sticking out from her neck

Show thos people how to marketeer something! :p
Podcast time. Still listening to the one doing short scary stories. It's had some pretty good ones. If tomorrow is dead also I'll do anime then. Watched a whole show last Friday. Currently watching jujutsu kaisen after work.

Sounds good, nice to have some variety from time to time. :p

Yeah, you're probably right.

I struggle with horror. It is either too scary and I lose sleep or it's hilariously bad. I saw The Shining once. Never again.

anybody a fan of the champagne of beers, aka miller high life, if you drink rolling rock i hate you.
More like the Thunderbird of beers... Or Mad Dog 20/20. Should be called Low Life. I prefer beer that has decent flavor, not cheap piss water.

Sounds a bit like Grotesque.

300 as an Adult, but I would've probably also loved it as a kid.
When I saw 300 I was struck by the adherence to the original comic -- even up to duplicating scenes found in the comic - in the movie
