Hi All -- Good morning on a snowy Throat Punch Thursday -- I did not get to say goodnight OR collect my interest last night due to site "maintenance" But that's ok -- was time to reset that old bank clock anyway A LOY of backreading ahead -- 17 pages -- so lots of coffee and dedication - and away we go!

Hi, hope you're having a wonderful day

Right now, I'm testing the game "Reclaiming the Lost [v0.9]" from "Passion Portal."
I'm pleasantly surprised; the graphics are truly beautiful.
I'm going to fall in love with Chloe...

Blondes are not usually my preference, but there are always exceptions like Chloe. How is testing going, any estimate on the next release? 💚

Anybody got a favorite movie or a comfort movie to share?
I have a few

Serenity
Searching for Bobby Fischer
Léon: The Professional
Inglourious Basterds (love me some Mélanie Laurent)

*looks around* Oh god.. "sleaze is the way?"
There are many paths to paradise, just like there are many definitions of paradise itself -- Sleaze is just one that is currently pretty crowded.

Labyrinth is great! Those 80's Fantasy Films still hold up to this day. Phoebe Cates ala Fast time at Ridgemont High, Gremlins, Private School and Jennifer Connely were my childhood Crushes, until I saw girls just a little bit older than me like Natalie Portman as Matilda in Leon: The Professional and Danielle Harris. Plus, the oddball David Bowie as The Goblin King, is a standout!
I love watching 2 comfort 80's flicks. Well... three.

Hudson Hawk <- not like the other. "Bunny, ball ball!"

Willow "All the power in the universe is located in which finger?"

Legend Tim Curry, in a role even better than Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Work done, time to go home... FINALLY

This is amazing, but these crosses are the most unnecessary invention ever.

Unnecessary why? They are in many countries a well known symbol that tells you: you'll get medicine/first aid here.

bottom of the page

Or do you simply mean the sign consisting of single small light elements? Cause that's an invention that goes way back to one of the first and the shortly later following 'animated' billboards nearly a hundred years ago.

How many other people read this question and just sat there unable to come up with something they really liked about themselves?
Yeah, questions like that can develop slowly to a literal gut-punch ... you start your day not thinking too much bad things, read that question and think about it longer than you should and the sinking feeling of knotted guts sets in ... and before you realize it you are back on YT doomscrolling shorts and/or listening to your 'sad-music-mix'.
Not anyones fault really, but the times i wanted to punch something (or myself) after the onset of such a downspiral because someone unknowingly and probably unintended started that process with such a question ... more often than i'd like to admit.

And that is why suffering is often silent, because no one wants to blame the ones asking the innocent question, or the un- or at least less-damaged people who answer positively, and no one usually wants to be the darned Debbie Downer who ruins the mood.

(I literally sat here now for 5 minutes fighting myself wether or not i should just delete that shit i just wrote or just post it ... because to make that very clear: i do not want any pity but i felt like i had to say it once)

Furthermore, should the Sleaze Sect vote in favor, I will publicly declare my official joining of the sleaze sect, and with it - prospects the Sleaze have not yet considered.
Dammit -- We pride ourselves here on having a politics free zone.. Then the Sleazeans start to get numbers and start flexing their political muscles

Who's ready for the..........
what is your best feature? (either physical or something in your personality. Anything! What do you love about you?)
I am a big ol' geek. And not a, "You can't join our club because you don't remember THAC0, but a please come in and show me your fandom."

Yeah, the original script for Legend is a trip, I like the Director's Cut without the Tangerine Dream soundtrack. Glad we didn't have Darkness taking Lily's virginity and the long drawn out sex scene where they were constantly licking eachother. Very glad it didn't make it... Tim Curry is and has always been an excellent actor, it's a shame his health is failing and he's been in bad shape for the last 10'ish years.

Willow is one of my all time favorite Fantasy films, and I'm a huge Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer fan, shame the series was terrible, but at least girl playing Elora was decent, along with the guy that played Boorman. The rest were kinda bad, with the exception of Warwick, of course.

I like Hudson Hawk, never understood the shit it got from people. It's not The Last Boy Scout, but still a decent movie. It also soured Bruce Willis and he was disenchanted with acting because it bombed, luckily it was short lived. Though, it isn't really an 80's movie, even if it feels like one.

I like a lot of the Sword and Sorcery 80's stuff, Red Sonja, Conan, Gor, Willow, Deathstalker, Beastmaster, Wizards of the Lost Kingdom, The Sword and the Sorcerer, Lady Hawk, Excalibur, Dragonslayer, The Barbarians/Barbarian twins, Hawk the Slayer. Krull even though it's also scifi. Flesh and Bone, even though this is more historical adventure, rather than fantasy. Some are a bit crappy, but I enjoyed them as a kid.
