I don't know what any of that meansThe issue is that employers often abuse the hourly wage system, since its creation it should only be used for activities in which productivity can not be measured. If your work can be measured and you get paid based on time then they have to set a quota system or you are getting robed.
Time employee = security guard, chef, secretary, etc since overall you need to be available for activities than may or may not be required then the contract is set on time spent inside the workplace.
Production employee = factory worker, farmworker etc you get paid based on work provided/crops collected/shoes made/etc
bitch ass employers now like to set "iddle time activities" to employees with no set production quota
