Not sure what mine's is called, I picked it up since its smooth and heavy, kinda fun to bring around.

Glass just denotes an amorphous crystal structure. Its really wild when you get into metallic glasses. My rock is pretty neat. Its a big agate about the size of my palm and vaguely hemispherical. The layer lines are really prominent in different areas on it so it looks a little bit like a brain. Really handy as a fidget when I'm trying to to focus to be flipping around a "fossilized brain"
