It's really not a hard concept to grasp. Like, you wouldn't go to a friends house and NOT talk to them, right? Similar idea. Just join in the conversations as yourself, be yourself and just hangout. That's the key. There's no sense in randomly replying with unrelated BS and being low effort here, because we're all friends or at the very least friendly. And we do answer questions, though depending on the thread speed at the time it may get lost and need another reach out.

Not sure why, but that made me think of someone just replying on a post 2k+ pages back when they remembered about it after a couple of years.

Watching tellie, he just plotted down on the sofa and watched. You could start a conversation with him, but if you didnt... he was just present.*
It was a bit weird, but you got used to it over time.

This actually happens a lot here, though not as extreme. Our backreaders read through all the posts, and usually reply to multiple people hours, sometimes days later. It's part of why we like to have people who enjoy it do backreading with us.

Lol I can see someone doing that, especially introverted people. Weirdly, I'm kinda like that in person. I just don't talk a lot unless I have something to say or otherwise get invested somehow. Group situations are sometimes misunderstood and taken as disinterest because of it.

Glass just denotes an amorphous crystal structure. Its really wild when you get into metallic glasses. My rock is pretty neat. Its a big agate about the size of my palm and vaguely hemispherical. The layer lines are really prominent in different areas on it so it looks a little bit like a brain. Really handy as a fidget when I'm trying to to focus to be flipping around a "fossilized brain"
