I mean I sometimes wonder why sites like lewdcorner and peepeepoopoocan'tsaythename95 even exist, if were not allowed to share the games as soon as someone has the latest update.
correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't ohnoeshereitisagain95 founded exactly because of piracy? then this site was founded because don'tbanme95 turned coat on the matter?
so has this site turned coat too?
why in the hell should we honor the wishes of a dev who goes on a dramatic romper-suit-floor-kicking temper tantrum and straight up leaves the site, just because their update was shared a week early?
why should we care for any dev, when ALL of these games are shared early on other sites?

but no, we should definitely pay for the admins cat funerals...
1. The core of the piracy to get otherwise not available games. But here the game _is_ available, just a little later.
2. If a few days latency is the cost for a good relation to a dev and a reliable source of game, (not infected ) I think it's worth it.

My most favorite AVN game ever!

I really like this game. However, when I share my feelings about it with other gaming enthusiasts, I'm always laughed at for liking the little girl characters in it.

Another typical hypocritical developer.
They are what they are today because of sites like LC, F95, among others. Where their good fan base and supporters came from these same sites. But no, instead of thanking these sites, now they vomit on them.
This particular developer has always been a tantrum-thrower, immature.
I remember once on his discord (which I left a long time ago) he commented that he didn't like it at all when someone disliked a post by SS. Just a measly dislike, and he made all that drama, showing his immaturity and insecurity.
These same developers got what they have today because of these sites, don't you want your games to be leaked? Then don't get into this business, you hypocrites.

Sites like this aren't necessarily pirate sites. Maybe even start out but then due to massive amount of people flooding due to availability games become gateways. Devs realising they could use them to communicate with people, get feedback, push updates, get support. Even if it means leak here and there.

Gotta be real with you man. If I had to choose you over a developer, I'd choose a developer. Then honor devs's wishes because as long as they're reasonable and dev isn't being a scumbag.
They bring bread on the table. You don't. You're out here making demands and acting high and mighty... Perhaps to a degree where it makes developers see how ungrateful people are for getting content that has been paid by others... or straight up given for free.

You SHOULD fucking care about what dev has to say. Because same dev can decide that he had enough of shit people like you put them through and quit. Then you have no game to share. Then you'll months later come to browse the new updates section and wonder why there aren't any new games or updates :)
Without them, sites like this or 96 wouldn't exist.
You're free to leave this site whenever you want but guess what. Lewdcorner is one of two sites where **all** types of games can be posted.

And some are taking your advice, it's why new AVNs show up less and less often as time goes on even as vanilla genre's, nevermind loli. I mean I'm smart enough to know to even try to make my money from copies of 1's and 0's.

Some people just don't get how much shit devs go through. More so loli game devs. More so when for years they have to deal with ungrateful people, threats and challenges associated with developing such a game.
I don't disagree with the guy on one part. I think that actively communicating and being part of the communities on various sites is extremely important. Closing doors off, hoping the people who still support the game will stick around forever is... unwise.

But coming in here, badmouthing the dev is not going to accomplish anything but make developers' stance on the site more firm. Why come to a site where you're not respected by people, called a hypocite and immature when same people celebrate when his livelihood being leaked is celebrated.
I do have to say though... part of being a content creator is also accepting that piracy is inevitable and should be taken with more reasonable approach. Rather than leaving the sites... as there aren't many left that appreciate and accept devs who make games like SSP.

I gotta respectfully disagree? Loli VNs? Sure. They are exceptionally rare if you can even find them. Since sites like Itch.io for sure have some hidden gems nobody has found yet or games hidden away by substar due to developers simply not knowing where to publish them.
But other VNs? Nah. If anything, ive seen rise of them due to availability of AI. Plus after 2020 popularity of VNs going up as people have realized there is a demand.
What is hard though is finding diamond in a rough due to sheer amount of games out there.

Gotto agree with this statement for the most part.
Even IF this was a pure piracy website - it would still be beneficial to all parties involved to show some respect to the devs and at least work with them when it comes to certain timelines.
A lot of the devs don't do this ''for fun'', it's partly a job for them; or at the very least, the income they generate from their work is important to them.

Having all the pirates wait 1 extra week is hardly the end of the world - in fact, it shouldn't matter to us at all.. and that first week of earlier access might persuade a good number of people to support the dev over it. That's a win-win. Pirates will still get the games being developed - supporters feel rewarded for supporting - developers can earn some money for their work.

Now ofcourse, you will never be able to stop a game from showing up on sites like this - and that is (mostly) widely accepted by devs; however if a small thing like holding off the new patch a week is wanted; I think sites like LC SHOULD respect that.

People that do not support devs monatarily - and are just here as consumers without investing anything into it; have 0 right to complain on the matter afaic.
(And this is coming from someone who doesn't pay game devs anything either - but just waits patiently for what becomes available)

Pirate can always become a supporter. I've pirated plenty of games. Here and on steam too. Then after I actually liked them, I paid for them.
Learned hard way to not throw money on everything. More so when some people don't keep their promises and get lazy.
(Not talking about Ketzal. He is one of developers who consistently push out good updates and stick to a single game)

In my humble opinion, it's extremely simple. If we collectively give a dev 5 bucks each, we can perhaps make him quit his job. Because game development becomes his job. With it being his job, he can push out more updates more frequently and everybody benefits.

I don't see a problem with early access at all. It's just pure impatience that drives people to want is leaked asap. What I however see as a problem is exclusive content of the game itself being forever kept paywalled. Which then prompts the pirates to want to see parts that have been denied to them. Thus encouraging more hostility and piracy. That is a big no-no for me with projects.

Piracy is inevitable. It's unstoppable. But absolute worst thing one can do is to disconnect themselves from communities and collectively punish everyone for what pirates do. As they say, grit your teeth and soldier on.

Even if the people don't pay, they can provide constrictive criticism, feedback etc. Good dev takes those in mind too. Otherwise... yeah. Complaining without contributing does absolutely nothing.
I have personal rule of not leaking content, despite easy ability to do so. Making devs miserable isn't going to help. VN scene has serious issue with burnouts and abandoned games.
Also have personal rule of careful purchases:
If developer/artist consistently pushes out updates, I'm willing to monthly give 5-10$ to the cause. Why not. I can skip lunch or two to make a project go for longer.

I gave my opinion, the developer in question is stubborn, immature and childish. Just because he makes ** games, doesn't make him different from other developers. I never said that games should be leaked before the public version. I challenge anyone to find a post of mine asking for a link to a game before the public version, whether it's here or on F95. I don't actually play this game, it has good renderings, but the story is crap (my opinion), I just download it, look at the images and animations and then delete it, I don't even open the game.
I made the previous comment because it irritates me to see this kind of behavior from ungrateful developers.

What I did in the days of 56k was simply click download then go to bed. Usually finished when I woke up the next day, unless it was a raw 650MB music CD dump that took a couple days or a couple weeks for a DVD movie (eventually just let Netflix mail them to me if the local library or Blockbuster didn't have them). It's all about patience.
I used to download movies, then add subtitles in the appropriate language, burn them to DVD or CD, put them in the archive and then take them out and watch them when I need them. Then Portable HDD etc. came along and CDs became unnecessary. My current laptop doesn't even have a CD input. Back then, I used to use a program called Emule and get a maximum download speed of 100kb/s. It could take days or even weeks to download a movie. Depending on the person sending it. Even a 1 GB file was very difficult to download. Nowadays young people are impatient.

... My dad showed up the other day with a floppy disk; fully expecting my current PC to still be able to have a floppy reader in it.. XD

:D :D :D

I had games on floppy disks, more than one. They were the kind of things you could only play with the directional buttons. It was a very interesting time, really. I don't even remember the names of the games.

Goes on a pirate site and call others leeches.
You're right behind the morons who would come here and berate you for liking loli.

Eat shit and fuck off.

Why do people like u think that? This isnt another Ric0H bullshit.
The dev DID had aproblem, it got sorted out, was a misunderstanding, even ketzal said so.

Ketzal left this site, because he doesnt have the time left. Time on a pirate forum that keep on asking the same questions over and over again.
He prefered, after having alot of costumers, to just QUIT every communication that doesnt pay.
And thats fine with me....u fkkn Leechers

And,....he did a good job with that. He has been concentrating on his game ( the only income he has you little fucks ) and even changed COUNTRY! to keep on doing what he does.

Stop acting like he is the bad guy....because he isnt. Most of you stupid shits can be happy that Ketzal DOES release a public version, still, even without being active on any public forum.

Be happy, and stop whining. You wanna be entitled shitheads just suck.

That was exactly my point, vomiting on the plate you ate from. And I was talking about developers, and not just this one.
And unlike you, I don't kiss developers' balls.

In relation to the new update, I gotta say that new fetish being introduced is nice. Leana is very eager to do whatever the fuck MC wants lol.
While I don't have much say in what will happen in story, I would actually take more fetishes over introduction of more girls.
i've slightly gotten to a point where I've stopped caring about side characters as more and more get added. Which then detracts from scenes that family members could've had.
I much prefer a scene with a cute daughter than some random shop girl or something (y)

Small update but quality one with best girl. But I wouldn't mind an Alice one, as well as anything involving "main" girls of which their is many from smol to milf. I agree that adding new ones is annoying because there's enough already, people like them. New ones that MC will maybe fuck one time are a waste of dev's time. But many devs do the same "mistake", don't know why. Maybe harder for them to think of new situations with main girls than to use a new character in some random scene...?

That's the real appeal, though, isn't it? Adult games featuring big-breasted MILFs and even mother-fu**ing incest are all over the place while genuine loli projects are not. That's because the majority of perverts who play adult games either have a problem with the loli thing or don't really but want everyone else to believe they have a problem with the loli thing (closet lolicon lovers). I'd advise you to be cautious about who you share your gaming preferences with. Some will laugh at you and that will be the end of it. Others will want to throw you into a wood chipper.

The game for the past 3 versions has crashed on startup for me. I'm not sure why.
Why don't you find out? In the game directory there should be a file log.txt. Just open it and look at what it says. Probably some general logging information that isn't very interesting, and at the end the details of the Python error that caused the crash. It often contains a short sentence or other hint that can help you understand and fix the problem, even if you are not a programmer.
