are you going to see it or you are tired of alien franchise
Yes, the new director, Fede Alvarez, did Don't Breathe and the remake Evil Dead... man knows horror/suspense and has done a good job reviving a franchise before. The trailer makes me hopeful that he can do it again.

Loved the Alien franchise but can't be bothered to go see it in theaters. I'll wait till it comes out on 4k Blu ray and I'll load up on my plex server.

Hadn't hear of it before. The prequel (Prometheus) and the last one in the timeline were both pretty bad.

No rush to see it - so will wait until it shows up for free.

Also, LOL at actually going to a movie. See the thread about if movies at the theater are dead.

No, the franchise is dead, each new movie only burying it deeper and deeper.

I saw it in theater. It was ok, but most you'll have seen before (and better).

I liked it, probably one of the better things to happen to the franchise since the first 3, imho. Is it as good as the first 2, no way in hell! The cast was decent, Xenomorph looked good, some tense moments for fans, and the acting was fairly solid. Not much to complain about, good, but not great.

I liked Resurrection, thought Prometheous was boring, wasn't fond of Covenant, and I'd rather not talk about the AvP movies. Some of the Alien games are decent, though.

I'll download it once it's on DVD or such and available on TPB.

The movie is 1 hour and 59 minutes in length for a total of 119 minutes. Some of the
characters I didn't like, and was actually glad to see them die. There were only three
characters that I was rooting for to make it out alive; Rain, Kay, Andy.

There was also way too much filler, about the first 55 minutes of the movie I just wanted to fall asleep,
so there is about 1 hour and 4 minutes of actual plot and interest and 55 mins of boring filler.

Saw it on streaming, it was actually good.
Those poor babies did not deserve any of that that happened to them

NO, I've only watched the second Alian movie. If I do start craving Alien Ill play the game.

Watched the download a couple months ago. Thought it wasn't good. Not as bad as the last one though.

I haven't seen it but i own it. From what i have been told it is bad fanfiction, or the best Alien since Aliens. And that is wide chasm of split fan comment. Personally, the last one I watched Alien Covenant was terrible. Too much cgi, far too predictable. If its anything like the first Alien i would very much enjoy the film. Though tastes can be subjective.

I have a long backlog of films on multiple formats. DVD, Laserdisc, Blu-Ray and 4K. I play video games and read comics seldom and do very little else. Movies requires hours of attention and attentiveness. I get bored quickly. My days are full of boring and mundane tasks, a very life sapping experience to where wasting two hours on a film can be exhausting, because if I have a few hours to kill I'm going to play video games or sleep.

Save it for the weekend watch a film, read a graphic novel or play some old video game from last gen because I don't have the latest and greatest console.

I watched it, didn't really click with me. Felt like a rehash of the old movies with not much new.

It is not a bad movie. Nothing original either, but much better than the last movies in the franchise.

Well, I wanted to participate here but this movie is not mine, but do you recommend it?
