After Prometheus I'm done forever with the Alien franchise.
It's as dead as Star Wars for me.

There are no movies being made that I care enough about to go pay to watch but the Alien franchise is long dead to me. Wouldn't watch it for free from the comfort of my home. They seriously just need to leave the classics alone instead of trying to ruin them.

I'll catch it when it releases on a streaming service, I don't go to movies anymore because they're usually a disappointment, the price has gotten out of hand, and the people tend to ruin it by being obnoxious.

Prometheus actually works for me solely because I watch it as a comedy. Almost every character in every scene competes to prove themselves the movie's biggest slack-jawed drooling imbecile. I refuse to believe any sentient human intended characters that moronic to be played straight, so I must conclude it's a brilliant comedy about Lone Sane Bot Michael Fassbender trolling a ship full of village idiots.

Haven't seen it but from what I hear Covenant is more of the same; if the pattern holds for the newest one I'll definitely catch it once it's out on streaming.

I was never big into the franchise, and I'm not super big on suspense or horror, but I did enjoy the original alien movies and AVP, but I don't think I'll bother with Romulus, theaters and movies just aren't really my thing any more. In most cases, writing has gone to shit, and the prices are no longer worth the services provided. I'd rather just skip movies until they get to streaming, or not watch at all.

probably not in theatre, but i am cautiously optimistic and hope it will be decent. can't be as bad as Covenant and Prometheus.
will probably find it floating on the "high sea"

I'll download the torrent when the HD version comes out. I'm not optimistic, as the franchise was practically killed by previous projects.
